Affordable, Spanish-style Anaheim hotel with old-world charm
This charming hotel has just 30 rooms and 57 furnished apartments, so guests can enjoy a quiet atmosphere and plenty of personalized service. The Spanish-inspired design gives the hotel a European feel, and many of the rooms have garden patios and rustic furniture. The hotel is less than three miles from Disneyland, and close to other Anaheim attractions such as Knott's Berry Farm and the Anaheim Convention Center. Kitchen suites allow guests to create their own meals, making vacations even more affordable.

Fantastic deal!

I was pleasantly surprised to see the accomodations. Very nice large room, a surprise welcome package, just wonderful overall. I would definitely stay there again, as it was better than the average hotel, and exceptional for the price.

Quiet and Cozy

We found the Lemon Tree hotel to be quite enjoyable. The room was clean and enjoyed the rustic decorations that made it feel less like a hotel and more like a bed and breakfast. The staff over all was very accomidating and when asking a employee information about an attraction he went online and printed driving directions. I enjoyed the quietness of the hotel as it was about a mile from the main theme parks so it was very peaceful and yet close to everything.

Fantastic Stay

If you would enjoy something a bit different for your next stay in Anaheim, the Lemon Tree Hotel is a great choice. The rooms are very comfortable with a unique spanish-style decor. The rooms have mini-kitchens stocked with plates, glasses and utensils. My room was located on the back-side of the hotel with its own entrance off the parking lot. There was a small patio area in front of the door, with potted plants around. It made for a very nice atmosphere during my stay. The bed was comfortable. Although my room was directly off the parking lot, it was very quiet. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The wireless internet is free and worked perfectly. I will definitely stay at the Lemon Tree Hotel again.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

There is easy access to the freeway. There are several good restaurants nearby along with a grocery store. Since the hotel has kitchenettes, it is cost-effective to be able and purchse foods that can easily be prepared at your room.

GREAT FAMILY STOP

While planning a trip to Disneyland and Six Flags Magic Mountain I was overwhelmed by the amount of information about hotels! Many in our group stayed in the Theme Park District, but I looked elsewhere because I didn't want to have so much traffic and noise. Its located on a cross-street (East to West) to Interstate 5. It is easy to get to from I-5 AND Highway 57. The street is a 2 to 3 lane road each way with a center/turning lane. From Highway 57, there is a shopping center with grocery, KMart, lots of fast food, etc. From I-5, there is not a lot of shopping but you drive through a very nice downtown area. The Hotel is on the SOUTH SIDE of the road, and it sneaks up on you easily. We ended up turning around several times. The only negative I can think of is the parking - there isnt any. We would unload the truck, and then dh would find a parking spot (on the premisis) somewhere - usually not very close to our room) The office staff is super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a remodeled with a lot of Spanish-influence. The breakfast each morning consists of cereal (which was PERFECT for kids), fruit, yogurt, muffins and pastries - orange juice, coffee and lemon water...Simply water with so many lemons in it, actually quite refreshing!! They tear down the breakfast stuff 10ish... The room had 2 beds, a couch, a table, a micro and fridge, an enormous counter top/mirror outside of the toilet/shower room. I love it when the vanity is separate from the bathroom. The bathroom was quite small, but manageable. They leave typical stuff - soap, shampoo - but we got a real treat with some extras like a sample pit-stick (deod), a fancy razor, some funky hair stuff, etc. Dont know if that was standard, but hey - it was nice. The pool is not HUGE but clean and nice, but we had little time to spend there. It was a little on the cool side, but we'd been in the sun all day, and I'm guessing that refreshing dip would have been better served by taking a nap! The grounds are amazing - the foliage is beautiful - Walking through the middle grounds, one would nearly forget that they are in the heart of SE LA!! Huge fragrant flowers, and again - immaculate. Never did find the ice machine...then again, never did look for it. You are close to this road, and I did hear some traffic at night - a group of harleys driving by and the occasional diesel - but overall, an excellent place to stay!!

Nice midrange place - unique, cozy character

The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful; they were genrally very knowledageble about the area and strove to help. This is not a four-star hotel, for sure, but with its amenities, in some ways it felt like one. There is no onsite restaurant, but it had everything else I would look for. I particularly enjoyed the unique, charming and very cozy character of the hotel - it had recently been refurbished, with a nice southwestern motif. Bedding was very comfortable and clean, roms were spacious, the free wireless internet was welcome - none of those annoying sign-up fees like several 4-star hotels charge nowadays. The continental breakfast was simple but nice. I liked that each room had it's own 'fridge. My friend's room had a very nice jacuzzi. I would defintely return to this hotel - esp. as a budget romantic getaway spot.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Disneyland and other big vacation resorts are very close by, and the rest of LA is not far at all - we went for dinner each night in LA and Santa Monica, and even considering traffic on I-5, we still made it to every place door-to-door in less than an hour. We made it to Tengo Sushi in Santa Monica on Saturday night in 45 mintues!

A beautiful Vacation

The lemon Tree Hotel was an excellent choice. It is very beautiful and very close to all the tourist attractions. The king room was perfect for me. I love the Spanish Rustic look of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. TThe hotel is surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants. The pool area was relaxing and full of pretty flowers. I will only stay at this hotel when I come back to California.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

The Block at the Orange is an outside shopping mall. If you want to escape the Disney crowd, there is a lot to do here. If you are not crazy about driving on the free way, just take a left on Lincoln Ave from the hotel and you can get to disney and many other attractions.
