Affordable, Spanish-style Anaheim hotel with old-world charm
This charming hotel has just 30 rooms and 57 furnished apartments, so guests can enjoy a quiet atmosphere and plenty of personalized service. The Spanish-inspired design gives the hotel a European feel, and many of the rooms have garden patios and rustic furniture. The hotel is less than three miles from Disneyland, and close to other Anaheim attractions such as Knott's Berry Farm and the Anaheim Convention Center. Kitchen suites allow guests to create their own meals, making vacations even more affordable.

The Lemon Tree's quiet atmosphere is enhanced by its lush garden setting, fish ponds, heated pool, and fountain courtyard. Reflects a 3 Star Hotel

The lobby area was welcoming and well-decorated so initial impression was good. My family had a one bedroom APT room - right away I noticed an odd smell, similar to that of a cheaper motel. The space itself was roomy enough - sparsely but adequately decorated. The carpets had quite a bit of stains on them, which was a bit of a deterrent. Some of the walls also were a bit dirty. If the company could clean the carpets, repaint some of the walls and get some febreeze goin' on, it could earn an extra star from me. Overall it was okay - not great, not bad. I did enjoy the continental breakfast mainly because it was in the lobby which was the best part of the hotel for us.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

If you forget something or need a snack, there's a Ralph's shopping area about 10 minute walk from the hotel - Coffee Bean, Togo's, and Baskin Robbins are also there. Across the street from Ralph's there's a Walgreen's too, which can be convenient if you forget a toothbrush or something.

Good for the price!

We booked this hotel last minute for our Disneyland trip, and got a great deal for 55$ a night. I thought the room was okay I felt like the pictures were WAY nicer then it really was we got the 1 King room. The bathroom was small I had to ask for a blow dryer the room didn't have one already in it.I really wouldn't recommend this hotel to family because they probably wouldn't like it, but if your on a budget like me then you would enjoy the stay. :)

The good, the bad and the really ugly

Good: Location was great. Bad: Towel were dirty. Furtunately, I notify the front desk and they replaced them inmmediately. Ugly: The decoration of the room need some upgrade. Also provide more people for cleaning.

Nice hotel and even better price

The room was clean and spacious. It had a microwave and two refrigerators (weird, they were stacked on top of each other). Lots of towels. Comfortable bed. Cheap Internet. Very quiet. Parking was tight but OK. TV's are a little old but they worked fine with a lot of cable choices. Free continental breakfast. What's not to like? Hard to find when driving down the street.

Decent Motel But To Much Noise

Its a converted apartment building that they made into a motel. On the plus size the rooms are spacious and there is a built in kitchen on the negative side a lot of street noise and the neighborhood is just ok.

a mixed bag, but solid

I went to Anaheim for a convention, but didn't want to stay at one of the big convention hotels. I had hoped that the Lemon Tree Hotel would be close enough to the convention to feel nearby but far enough to feel like it was in a part of Anaheim where people actually live. I got a little bit of both, I think. On the one hand, I did really like being near "old Anaheim" - down the block from a great pancake place, and about a mile from downtown historic Anaheim (town hall, neighborhood parks, a Starbucks, a grocery store, lots of Mexican restaurants). On the other hand, the hotel felt too far from the convention center and there wasn't a shuttle. I knew about the lack of a shuttle going in, but I didn't realize what a big difference it would make. It was hard to always have to call a cab, since walking simply wasn't an option. The hotel itself, too, wasn't quite as fancy as the website makes it look. I thought that I would have a kitchen, or a kitchenette, but I didn't have either - all my room included was a small refrigerator that froze everything I put in it. It was frustrating. The front desk people, though, were very nice and the hotel wasn't very noisy.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

There are good local restaurants relatively near the hotel, in either direction on Lincoln. Closer by are the places to the east - good sushi, especially. In the other direction, it's a longer walk but there are some good options (including excellent Thai food).
