Great place to stay!

Disneyland Vacation
Our stay at Howard Johnson Anaheim was great. We were able to walk to the Disneyland entrance in less than 10 minutes. Mimi's restaurant was good. There are several dining options within walking distance. The outdoor hot tub is nice and hot! The pools and grounds are well maintained. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Reasonable for area
It's a reasonable place. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. It's noisy due to proximity to the freeway and Disney across the street (fireworks at 9:30PM every night). Since it's so kid-friendly, there are lots of them around. When we wanted to sleep, we just turned on the air handler and drowned out what noise there was with no problem. Free parking was fantastic. Many hotels in the area charge as much as $15 per night for parking so this was a great surprise. Free Wi-Fi was also useful and it was pretty fast.

very nice clean , profesionally maintained, hotel service very helpfull. plenty of good places to eat short walk from hotel . Disney entrance is a short walk from resort . Freeway near would stay again next time

Nice hotel
Stayed at HoJo Xmas eve 2010. Overall great stay. Room was smaller than expected but was sufficient for our needs. Quick walk to Disney. Would definitely stay again!

Good location, but new paint smell in rm
The hotel is close enough to Disneyland. It is an easy walk there. The water park and pool are great. The down side to our stay is that they were renovating parts of the hotel and they put us in a room on the same level as where the renovation was taking place. Our room smelled of new paint. I had also requested a room facing the pool and had paid extra for it. But when we were assigned the room, it had only a small window facing the pool. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. The house keeping staff were great though.

Good for families
Very clean, economical rooms. Our basic room had a roomy fridge and a microwave. Pools were very clean and kids splash park was great. Very convienient location to highways, Disney and restaurants and free parking at hotel.

Very Satisfied
Nice place. We could see the fireworks from Disneyland from our balcony. Their water park is adequate for children 10 and under and it's open til midnight. Staff was great. Small arcade with about 15 games. About a 10 min walk to Disney Land. The only small complaint is there's limited parking, but then again, if your there to visit Disneyland, you only have to park once.

Disneyland Family Trip
For the most part the amenities were nice and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect- walking distance to Disneyland. The hotel was very clean but you could tell was old.

best for kids
Great for families with small kids (we have 2 and 4 year olds). 5 min walk to Disneyland, which is perfect, considering that you have to walk all day long throughout the park. Mimi's cafe is right across the street (excellent menu). Staff is ok, check-in and out is really fast. We wanted a pool view room,because hotel is right next to I-5, and it was quiet. This was our best vacation ever!!!!!

Hassle Free
Not much to say. The Room was clean. 5 minute walk to Disneyland. Checkout on the TV. Check in was a snap.
