Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel And Water Playground

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Discount tickets to amusment parks were available. Easy walking distance. The pools were beautiful and well maintained with large towels accessible. Will stay again.

We had a later flight in the evening, so byt the time we checked in only the poor location rooms were available. By poor location I mean I could almost have jump off the balcony onto the highway! You may as well have slept on the side of the road. I can't say if the other side of the building was any better, but after going to Disneyland and then trying to sleep it was pretty rough...

We were able to walk to the park within minutes. When we were tired, and wet from Splash Mountain, in the evening we took a quick cab ride to the hotel to change and back. It was very convenient. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Our bathroom was handicap ready, which meant the shower had no ledge. The water leaked onto the bathroom floor when we took a shower. Also, the counter consisted of a small metal shelf. It was about 6 X 18. This was way too small to be useful to us. Other than these two inconveniences, the bathroom was large and the room was comfortable, with a refrigerator and coffeemaker, which were nice amenities.

Closely of Downtown Disney. My daughter of 5 years old prefair to walk to wait for the transport. It takes 8 minutes. The room was ok, but I would appreciate that there were a microwave and wireless internet connection.

Good family hotel, nice & clean, easy walk to Disney, lacks on site food but plenty of options within an easy walk. having 2 pools is a bonus for summer.

The price was great, and the locations seemed to be just what we wanted. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find just what a great deal this really was. We were minutes away from Disneyland, there were many restaurants available, the room was a nice size and very clean, and the parking was free. There was even a great giftshop on site with a little bit of everything. We defintely will be staying there on our next Disneyland trip.

The Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel is the best hotel we've stayed at during our 15 visits to Disneyland in the past 5 years. Easily within walking distance from the park. Hotel very clean, great staff. Pool and HOT tub very nice after a day at the park. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Only caution is outside rooms may be next to freeway and can be annoying. Request a room on the inside.

We had mixed feelings about the hotel. The front desk folks were very accomodating. They put us next to our traveling companions in connecting rooms. The gift shop has some food, which we found to be very handy for purchasing water for our room. We also purchased small boxes of cereal and milk and were provided a bowl and spoon. This enabled us to have breakfast in our room and save on eating breakfast out. The gift shop is open until 11:00 PM, very good. The rooms were clean. However, the coffee pots were too small and not enough coffee was provided for 2 people (1 cup each). The televisions were VERY difficult to opperate, taking many tries to turn them on, not user friendly. One of the days, the maid removed the 3 clean wash cloths we had and left only one wash cloth in the room. This was the case in our companions' room as well, so we're thinking there is a shortage of linens at the hotel. It was too cold to use the pool, but it looked nice. The grounds were lovely. We enjoying the proximity to Disneyland. And, liked Mimi's restaurant very much.

Check-in was smooth and easy - even accommodated our early arrival. The room was of good size and comfortable with a nice view off of our patio. The best part was that we were across the street from Disneyland - easy walking distance and in the midst of the festive atmosphere. My son loved the pool as well as my husband. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
