With its dancing colored fountains and perfect palms, the Hilton Anaheim is practically part of the nearby Disney resorts, looks-wise, but set far enough apart to enjoy relative piece from all the excitement and associated noise. Relax with a soak in the adults-only indoor pool and hot tub, or take a spinning class during your stay-childcare is available for visiting families. Mix lounge offers a cool cocktail hangout in the atrium, with its chic contemporary fountains and glowing bar, while there's everything from sushi to Starbucks Coffee served on-site.
Key facts
  • 1,572 guestrooms
  • 4 restaurants/bars: Hilton Anaheim Food Court, Mix Lounge, Mix Restaurant, Starbucks Coffee
  • Fitness center
  • Health club and spa
  • 2 pools and Jacuzzi
  • High-speed Wi-Fi (fees may apply)
  • 140,000-square-feet of conference and event space
  • Disney ticket outlet
Neighborhood
Found just off West Katella or 'Disney' Avenue, you can walk to Disneyland in about 15 minutes from the Hilton Anaheim, but a shuttle pass is available for families with small children or any disabilities. The hotel's location is also convenient for Knott's Berry Farm amusement park to the north, the Discovery Science Center and Newport Beach. You can purchase souvenirs and enjoy a show from Cirque de Soleil at Downtown Disney or take a more chilled-out approach to shopping at the Anaheim Garden Walk, both down the road from the main California Adventure Park.
Hints and tips
Not just for Disney fans, the Hilton Anaheim is also close to the Anaheim Convention Center, and has extensive meeting spaces and booking tools.

If you're here on a business stay and want to avoid pricey Disney meals at lunchtime, visit local stores like Kmart on Katella Avenue and Target on Harbor Boulevard and DIY your daytime eats.

Hilton Anaheim at the Convention Center

Great location for events at the convention center. Walking distance to Downtown Disney and a short hike to Disneyland. Good food and drinks in house and an affordable food court for family eating on a budget. Hot water took over three minutes to get to my room, big waste of water I thought.

Not very accommodating...

Purpose of visit: Disneyland with family. CONS: $15 parking/day/car; $13/day internet; very weak 3G phone reception (our room was on the 10th floor, soutwest corner); very few plug outlets and none located conveniently by the bedside table (we needed outlets for 2 phone chargers, 1 camera battery charger, and 1 laptop); this Hilton charges $20/day for a mini-fridge to be brought up into the room (rip-off, other Hiltons don't charge); the bathroom door was a weird/atypical sliding door that didn't quite "close" all the way (there was a raised, 1-inch slit between the door and the wall) so bathroom privacy was a bit of an issue (no bathroom fan either) which is fine if you're by yourself or if you're okay with others knowing/hearing/smelling everything you do in the bathroom. Small nuisance: there was no plastic bag liner for the ice bucket (which is kind of gross). PROS: Close proximity to Disneyland; shuttle to Disneyland ($4/person, I think); the bed. ROOM: The Hilton beds/pillows are always comfortable and sleeping was not a problem. It was relatively quiet (although we were there a week before Christmas, so that might explain it). The bathroom lights seemed kind of dim (especially while in the shower, it was hard to see since the shower curtain blocked out he light) but not a huge deterent. AMENITIES: were provided. Crabtree & Evelyn brand soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion; shower cap, hair dryer, plenty of towels; ice bucket but only 2 glasses; extra blanket and pillow (in closet) as well as a safe (I think, also in the closet). No microwave or mini-fridge. CONCLUSION: Not sure if this Hilton is mainly used for business (the Convention Center is right next door) or for family (Disneyland is 1/2 mile away) but the rooms are not very palpable for either. The extra/high fees (parking, internet, services) was a major drawback; next time I think I'll pay the extra money to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn just down the block, or even the Marriott.

The lobby restaurant was overpriced and just okay. The restaurant at the Marriott is right across the street and is not as expensive.

Great hotel; wonderful amenities

My husband and I stayed here for New Years weekend so we could celebrate it at Disneyland. The hotel had a wonderful view of Disneyland but the pool area was being remodeled, so that part wasn't too pretty. Lol The room was great and very spacious.

Hilton Towers - Disneyland

Very comfortable and spaceous room. Wish it was a little closer to Disneyland, however the Anaheim Resort Transit bus system is very convenient and is worth the small price to use it.

Use the Anaheim Resort Transit buses to get from this hotel to the Disneyland Resort. Only a 5 minute bus ride that will cost you $10 per person for a 3 day bus pass.

We stayed there because of proximity to Disneyland and we were within walking distance of the Toy Story shuttle which took us to the park's main gate.
