IF YOU BRING A PET~ DON

Visiting family nearby & liked the price & amenities in ad. HOWEVER, after we had made reservations & looked on website to be sure if there was additional charge for our dog & seeing nothing....when checking in was informed that there was a 25.00 PER NIGHT (plus tax) charge for any pets ! I told them I needed to cancel & go to less expensive (pets can go to motel 6 for free, or Best Western for 25.00 for the entire stay). They informed me that they charge one nights fee for late calcellation! ("company policy mam") Holy Cow! Staff was rude-didn't care. Oh, by the way - all ground floor rooms are an upgrade charge, a lost room key is 25.00 & also found out they are part of the "room voucher" program (homeless families stay there for free)- that wasn't too bad, alot of women w/their children doing their laundry, but not too noisy- just weird.Non-smoking room but the hallway almost knocks you over w/smoke. Of course nothing but a bar of soap provided-so bring your own shampoo, hair blower,etc.Sort of clean, but there was a kids tooth on the dresser & nothing was moved to dust under &tv,laamp,etc.) The plus is there is a nice kitchenette, micro, clean bath towels, etc. My vote is ok for a short visit, but not the best at all. Cheap price, next to the 91 fwy, no frills-at all. NO PETS unless you want to pay thru the nose !! My vote- Just don't stay here.

It was ok

There are no frills at Extended Stay, which would be ok if there was a better deal on the price. The room was clean, but the hotel only cleans the rooms once a week during your stay, but then only leaves one packet of coffee. I wouldn't mind giving up some of the amenities for a more substantial price difference.
