Desert Palms Hotel and Suites

The hotel is within walking distance to the park. They offer free parking and breakfast. It's not super fancy but it's a great place to stay for the weekend at Disneyland.

Room was nice, but the hotel staff made it an excellent experience. Beautiful 15 minute walk to the park entrance, all good!

This hotel was mediocre and somewhat disappointing. The good things are that there is a lot of parking,the location is ok (we found it too far at the end of a long Disney day and chose to utilize the Disney parking & buses)and the room was clean. Unfortunately, the pool & spa were way too small for a hotel of this size and the pool deck did not allow for our family (7 people) to all sit at once - not enough space or seating and very few lounger chairs. The sun barely reaches the pool and there's no character. We couldn't open the windows in the room (yuck) and the tv consistently lost it's screen and turned red. We had family with us who had to change rooms twice. In the final room they were in, they had to complain to the front desk in the middle of the night because the smell of garbage was so overwhelming. The package included a daily breakfast - the food was not good. We've stayed in hotels that offer this as well and the food has always been very good - why not here? We will not stay at this hotel again however, it's not the worst we've been to!

We stayed in one of the standard rooms with two queen-sized beds (family of four w/ two young boys). Beds were comfortable, but room smelled musty. Decor was typical; mostly modern, but nothing too special. Definitely could have used more storage space. Only a few SHALLOW drawers provided under the TV stand and no drawers or cabinets in the bathroom. Hotel amenities include a small, heated, outdoor pool with hot tub, a small lobby arcade for the kids and a hotel restaurant on the main level. The one thing that stood out though was the daily, free, hot breakfast buffet with rooftop seating. Menu included sausage, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, oatmeal, make-your-own mini Belgium waffles, toast, plus cereal, danishes, yogurt, fruit, orange juice, coffee, etc. The staff was right on top of keeping the buffet stocked too. Another good point to mention was the free parking garage and the close proximity to Disneyland (only about a 10-minute walk).

Went to beach and theme parks! Great location short walk to parks and many eating locations and short drive to beach hotel was a plus good free breakfast very clean room was nice a little noisy in the night by great hotel for the money and nice staff. Would stay again!

The one good thing about this hotel was that it was close to the Disney park. It took us about 5 - 10 minutes to walk there. The hotel is close to many restraunts and a shopping center. I was a little disappointed in the hotel rooms though, they were not as nice as i thought they would be for a 3 star hotel. The water in the shower took a while to get hot also. Had to leave the water running for several minutes every time we took a shower for it to get hot. The hotel staff were nice and helpful and it was nice to get a free breakfast every morning, that definitly saved us money.

Next to Disneyland, easy access but walls thin, upstairs and halls very noisy. Nice hotel otherwise.

We were greeted with friendly staff the moment we walked in. We were upgraded from a room with 2 queen beds to a wonderful suite. The suite had 2 queen beds, a pull out sofa and a full kitchen. The room was very clean. We had breakfast in the hotel every morning. They offered eggs, hashbrowns, sausages, waffles, cereal, fruit, etc. There was plenty of food and the food was well stocked. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Disneyland. We would walk there early in the morning and then come back to the hotel for a mid-day pool break. The pool was not fancy, but it did the trick for cooling off before heading back to the park in the evening. We also rented a car and there were no problems finding a parking spot in the parking garage. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location near Disneyland. 10 minute walk. There is a 711 and an ABC mart next door and across from some eateries. Staff were all very courteous, friendly, answered all questions. Rooms were clean and pool area is very nice.

The hotel was less than what we had anticipated. Our reservation was screwed, we had reserved two rooms for four nights and they somehow only had us down for one room for four nights. The continental breakfast wasn't very good and the walls were paper thin. It was so noisy that after 8am we couldn't sleep even if we wanted to. Finally, our room was facing the parking lot. I probably wouldn't return here.
