Desert Inn and Suites

This hotel is directly across the street from DL. Really, you cannot find a better location unless you stay at a DL resort. Everything at the hotel was fine. Very basic. No complaints really except for the paper thin walls and sometimes noisy neighbors. Everything was clean. I saw a random employee picking up a very small piece of garbage in the parking lot even though it wasn't his appointed task at the moment. It is clear that they really try to keep the place tidy.

I was very happy that this hotel was sooo close to Disneyland but wasn't happy about the $8 parking fee that they charged, plus tax, every nite we were there. Lame!! And check-in time stated 2pm, but when we arrived, we couldnt check-in till 3pm. We got there early, and our room wasnt ready, and they didnt make any effort to try to get it ready for us. They said we had to wait till 3pm. So rude. I asked for a cot and was denied because it wouldn't fit in our room. We will not stay at this hotel again.

the room was just right for myself and my son and family plenty of clean towels very comfortable beds. great for walking to from disneyland for our six day stay.a good experiance for all will definately stay again.

Great location for Disneyland! But way to noisy. Garbage truck comes every morning at 7:00 and is very loud! Also very loud in halls in the evening. I would only try staying again if I had a room way in the back! Breakfast not much to be desired.

Pros: Hotel was perfect location to Disneyland. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Small breakfast that the children loved. In-door heated pool. Two TVs in our suite which was perfect for kids. Plenty of towels. Fridge and microwave great to have. Cons: Pillow and mattresses were hard and flat. Horrible smell coming from bathroom sink. Hotel needs a bit of a facelift...maybe paint the interior room walls something other than white. Carpet had stains. Overall this hotel needs a little work but for price and location I would stay again.

We checked in on Sunday afternoon, the process went smoothly. We stayed in a family suite that was two rooms that had 4 queen beds and two bathrooms, 2 fridges and 2 microwaves. The rooms were standard, clean and well maintained. The hard water, ecofriendly soap and noise were all negatives. Being across the street from Disney's main entrance made it very easy walking distance after a long day at the park. We would stay here again.

Check in clerk was very friendly. Parking attendants were extremely courteous and helpful young men. The room was dated. They did put some money into new bedding. No bed bugs... we checked. Asked for an extra blanket on a freezing night. Night clerk said they would send it right up. It never came. The bottom line is this hotel is across the street from the entrance. It's only a 10 minute walk max. that is worth any shortcomings (like the windows don't open for fresh air). Breakfast was apples, toast, dry cereal, orange juice, coffee, pastry. Another review said it was a hot meal... they must have been mistaken. Be prepared for high taxes, resort fee, and parking fee daily. This added up to about a hundred to our three night stay.

This hotel has horrible parking and charges you $8.00 a day to put your vehicle where you can't possibly get it out without the attendants moving 5-6 other cars. Only 2 very slow elevators serving a 5 story hotel with about 40 rooms per floor. You do the math and realize how long it takes to get luggage up and down. No Bell service and only about 5-6 luggage carts available. Rooms are very basic but cost is high. My bill for 4 weekday nights including parking and taxes was $823.00. I've stayed in 4 star hotels for much less. Unless location is your only consideration, choose another place.

When we got to the hotel there is no parking. You have to deal with valet and them damaging your property in your car. While we were there they had a 3 car accident. If you want your stuff damaged then stay here.

Hotel is okay for the price and location. The internet speed is very slow.
