Cortona Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort

My husband and I took our two daughters to go to Disneyland. We were on a budget and I wanted to find a hotel that was clean and affordable. I had bad experiences in the past with booking hotels online, but Cortona was great! The staff were friendly! The rooms were clean and comfortable. They even had a nice size fridge and a microwave which was a huge plus when you have to bring snacks along for the kids. The breakfast included was great too! Wasn't just a bagel and coffee sorta thing. There was a lot to choose from. We will for sure stay here again!

We loved everything, food was good i was happy to find many choice's I read a blog that said there food was not good, what did that guy want? they had eggs, fresh fruit, all kinds of breakfast foods, milk , juice, Pancakes, coffee, donuts muffins, biscuits and gravy, the only negatives were the brand of coffee was not the most wonderful I ever had, but it was so so, the way fi was week, but good enough to check your e mail just do not plan on looking at U Tube, :) the worse thing was the maids started knocking on your door at 8:30am wanting to clean, I know they are trying to get there job done, and I should have hung the do not disturb sign but come on 8:30am I am on vacation don't knock before 10am I think anyway all and all I would go there again, we were very happy with everything and it is a light walk to Disneyland worth the money we paid for sure you will like it :)

The hotel was a great value for how close to the Disneyland Park it was. Rooms were clean. No complaints here!

1-- INTRNET IS NOT GOOD 2-PRAINTING ANY PAPER IS VERY EXPENSIVE 3- YOU CAN HEAR SOUNDS FROM OTHER ROOM 4- BREKFEAST COLD ANDTHERE IS NO MANY VARITIES

When I ordered my room with one king size bed, but I really got was two queen size beds in the room. If my reservation might need to be chnged, I would like to know in the advance.

We stayed 4 days in a disability room that was very clean and confortable. The staff were wonderful. They helped us arrange transportation through out the area and Dinner show outings Morning variety of fruit, cereals,donuts, muffins, beads, waffles, alternating days of pancakes and eggs/ biscuits and gravy ,and all the coffee and juice you can drink. Will stay again.

Roomy and clean. Close to everything. Bed was very comfortable and spacey vanity area. easy access to car and plenty of Parking space.

We have used this place before, for the money, BEST VALUE! can't gett any better, we use it to sleep only, plus complementary brakfast does have all you need to start the day

Stayed in one of the 2 Queen bedrooms for a gaming convention, with two other friends. While the rooms were Very clean, the vanity light only worked about 10% of the time, and the room itself was Very humid and damp. There were only two outlets per room, and they are not in convenient locations. The beds are definitely firm, but the bedding is actually much better than a lot of other hotels I've stayed at, as far as softness goes. The layout is not my favorite, as the full length mirror doors are across from the tiny bathroom, so if you want to change and not have everyone see you, you have to close the door and put your already minimal space at a premium. Speaking of the bathroom, bring your own shampoo/conditioner and soap, as they are very poor quality. The towels are threadbare and awful as well. Location is pretty good, about a 5-10 minute walk to the Anaheim Convention Center, though don't try to cut through the back, almost all of the surrounding hotels are fenced in and you'll get trapped. It's next to the Doubletree Hotel, which is a huge benefit, as Cortona does not have a bar or restaurant, and considering the poor breakfast layout? You'll definitely be going elsewhere. The staff was always Very friendly and Very helpful, which was really appreciated. I forgot a razor and they supplied me with extras. My only problem with them was housekeeping kept opening our curtains when we were gone, and because of the layout you can see the entire room and All of our belongings when they are open, not exactly secure. They do provide free, wireless internet, which I appreciate, but during a tech-based convention it is Incredibly slow. But it is very easy to connect to. My biggest problem with this place was that even on the third floor, whenever someone next door or below us was showering, the noise from the pipes was ungodly loud, to the point where it prevented me from sleeping. Second biggest problem? The sink water absolutely stank of sulfur, or at least what I hope was sulfur and not a sewage leak. We never heard our neighbors, but could hear anybody walking by the room very clearly. Overall, it's not a bad hotel, it has some perks (staff, cleanliness, internet), but since the rooms run the same price as the low end Hilton ones and are pretty dumpy? I wouldn't stay here again.
