Good proximity to the Convention Center
My stay was just okay. The beds weren't very comfortable. It's not in the best neighborhood - it's pretty noisy. If your looking for a good value walking distance fromt he convention center, it's not bad. It's only a quick 10-15 minute walk. The staff at the hotel is also very helpful, though they don't have an airport shuttle. There's definitely better hotels in the area.

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Katella which has a ton of restuarants on the Disney Garden Walk.

Convenient Place to Stay for Convention Center
Great place to stay for the money if you are attending an event at the Convention Center (or even Disneyland). I could keep my car at the inn and easily walk to the convention center. The room was nicely equipped and the beds comfortable. My only complaint is that they provide you a nice desk for your laptop but there is no electrical outlet easily accessible from the desk. Luckily I had brought my own power strip which had a cord long enough to run from an outlet next to the bed over to the desk. A closer outlet or a room supplied power strip at the desk would be really nice.

This was a very reasonably priced hotel in a great location. The shuttle to Disneyland was next door and we bought our tickets there at the hotel. Very clean and the people at the hotel provided great service with a smile! One note--this hotel is about .7 of a mile to Disneyland--not 2 blocks!

Money-saving tip:
In Hotel
We didn't rent a car and had a great time using the Anaheim Transit Shuttle. It only cost $10 each for a three day pass and we could use it anytime. It dropped us off at the Disneyland gate and we didn't have the hassle or expense of parking a car.

Stayed here because the conference hotel was too expensive, and I appreciated easy access to breakfast and free wifi (not available at the more expensive place).

Great place for Family of 6
This was a great place to stay for a family of 6. We had absolutely no problems with a late check-in and found parking easily, even at 1 am. Plenty of room and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds and extra bedroom while we enjoyed the great price. The hotel room was clean, fully stocked, and close to Disneyland. The Continental breakfast was a little limited but other than that, great place. We would stay there again for sure.

Unhappy
Didn't get the king size bed
I asked for a king size bed and gottwo twins it killed the trip. They gave us the room right by the breakfast so it was soo noisy and housekeeping knocked on the door before check out!

GOOD CONDITION!!!
HAD TO KEEP ASKING FOR TOWELS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SERVICE THE ROOM TILL LATE IN THE DAY AND ALWAYS WHEN WE WERE THERE. MY ONLY COMPLAINT

Misleading ad, but get what you pay for
A motel is not an hotel; [...] So all noises from from the street and other guests are piling up at your door step. Given the price, most other aspects were OK. However, in one of our two rooms, the carpet was so dirty that walking barefoot turned our feet black immediately.It is called "Maingate", but is too far away of the main gate with young children.

If you have young children and expect to walk from this motel to Disneyland, forget about it. Even though it is called "MainGate", it is too far. You still need a car and pay the daily $14 Disneyland parking. You are much better with a real hotel further away.
