good and bad

We went to Universal studios as our first destination. Then we went to Disneyland. The hotel was just a place to sleep in. We were out and about most of the time. The only thing that ruined our stay were the uncomfortable beds! They caused 3 of us to have back pain! They really need to replace some of their beds. But other than that, their service was great. Very helpful and fast staff whenever we requested something.

If you want to buy souvenirs and you want to save money, try not to buy things inside Disneyland. Instead find souvenir shops around harbor blvd. It will save you money.

Great location

Great location; not too far a walk from the main entrance to Disneyland. Third time staying here; this time though the room had a musty smell. With the air condition on it was bearable. Would have been nice to have a microwave or some kind of continental breakfast like some of the other hotels in the area.

Good location for the price

The location was great, just a block and a half from Disneyland. It is an older hotel but the room was clean. The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean. The staff was very friendly and there was a nicely stocked small store on the premises. Decent restaraunts within walking distance and very little street noise. All in all, I would stay again for the price.

Great Location to Disneyland

The hotel was located just a short walk to Disneyland and is surrounded by many options for eating. It was a great bargain and the kids loved the way the hotel looks from the outside. Nothing fancy but a great way to stay near Disneyland and not spend an arm and a leg for a room that you will hardly occupy anyways.

excellent location. will go back..

we went to disneyland and got back around 12 its so nice the location just have to walk about 10 minutes to the main gate from disney wright accross . good location. the only thin was the manager was kind off rude because they double book me and he was lecturing me about that i should off called and cancel, but i was like trying to expaline the situation and he was just cocky that he was going to let me slide etc but other than that the other employee was nice and room was perfect to bad they dont have breakfast buffet, or any room service.price was great i think i paid 92 a nite.. i would recomment it to anyone..its kind off a quiet location..i was so tired when a came back from disney i didnt want to walk..but the walk was only 10 minutes from the main entrence from disney to the hotel.every thing was perfect..good amount off parking space..i luv it..so you all should get this place its a good place to stay..

The good the bad and the ugly

The first night the A\C did not work, the room was very hot. The sheets were dirty on one bed. They did fix the A\C the next day and the room was claen for the rest of our stay. The location was close to disneyland. They do not serve any type of breakfast in the morning, so had to allow more time before the park opened. The service there was pretty good they did rectify the problems fairly quickly. I dont think I would stay at that hotel again there are better values around the same location.

Location, location, location!

After a long day at the parks, the location of this was perfect in that we didn't have to walk far to be back in our rooms. There are several restaurants nearby which was also handy. The fridge in the room made it easy to do breakfast in our rooms before we left for the parks.

Great Location! Basic Hotel.

Great location, great price, very basic hotel. For the price this was a good hotel because is was a block from the main entrance to Disneyland and close to restaurants and stores. We had a fridge in our room and kept it stocked with water, juice, fruit, etc. so that we didn't have to buy it in the park (prices there were outrageous!) Being within walking distance to Disneyland is really, really important. You can go early when the crowds are small - walk back to the hotel in the afternoon for a swim, nap, lunch, and then return to the park for all the nightime activities.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Stop at a grocery store and get food/drink to keep in your fridge. This will help with costs as well as healthy eating. Although Disneyland now has great healthy food choices it is expensive. Ask for a room with newer beds - you will sleep much better!
