Bad Stay
The room and continental breakfast were just OK, but the internet service was terrible. I had to pay $10 a day and the internet speed was slower that dial up. I tried calling the ATT, the internet provider, but of course, never got anybody on the phone. I was getting 1mb/sec most of the time. This is a disgrace is today's world. I will not stay here again because of this.

Two Serious Issues
One of the first things I noticed when we got into the hotel was that there was no chain lock on the door and no deadbolt. I don't know much about the location, but I would have slept a lot better with either one of those. The fear wasn't just of someone entering, it was more of my kids waking up at night and being free to just open the front door and walk out. They aren't old enough to know any better, but are old enough to open the door by themselves. We literally barricaded the front door with a chair every night. The next serious issue was that we had taken our tablet with us to entertain the girls on the flight there and back. They were watching movies on the flight there. We didn't want to take the tablet to Disneyland with us, so we left it in the hotel. The next night, the girls wanted to watch a movie, and I go to turn it on but the sim card is missing and there's no movies. The tablet had been in the room all day long, and the sim card needs to be taken out, it's not something that can fall out by itself. Overall, I would not stay here again. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. The reason we had chosen this one was because all the reviews said it was a short walk from Disneyland. It was, but there were other hotels that were even closer. I only really interacted with the staff during check in, my husband talked to them every other time. My impression on check in wasn't the best. They weren't downright rude, they just weren't particularly happy that we were there either.

Dated and dilapidated, but very close to Disneyland!
On the plus side, the hotel is so very convenient for walking to Disneyland. You come out of the hotel, go left one block to the light, cross the street, and you are at the main entrance to Disney. The convenience is truly amazing and totally eliminates having to use shuttles or parking. On the downside, the hotel is pretty shabby and dated. There are no massive problems, but lots of little things that irritate. They do not have a print station for printing airline boarding tickets. There is no free wi-fi. They advertise free breakfast, but it is quite poor, so much so that I couldn't even get my kids to eat it, which is rare. They have coffee/tea, pastries, cold cereal and some fruit, but that's it. On our last day, we got a note stating that the water would be out all day in the hotel (see image). It would have been nice to know that in advance as we wouldn't have booked a hotel without water. Service was extremely inconsistent. We stayed 6 days and, for example, twice we got liners for the ice bucket, but not the other times. The night clerk at the desk didn't know how to use the computer systems, so checking in took about 25 minutes. Checking out was very fast though, with the normal day crew. Overall, I'd say stay somewhere else if you can, but in a bind, the hotel is acceptable. You likely are not hear to spend time in the room anyway.

Not bed foa a family vacation
The hotel is at a very good location. It is a relatively small hotel. The pool is small but good for kids. The staff was friendly although not very helpful. We had a room close to the pool and we were able to hear the pump pumping water into the pool. That noise was not the worst. The walls are very thin and ween people were walkings or children running in the room above us it was as if they were running on our heads. Aslo if someone in the rooms above you takes a shower - boy do you hear it! The tubes are very noisy. We were there for 5 nights and we complained about the noise but the hotel management did not do anything. I was expecting that they would find us a room at the top floor or something. On Harbor blvd there are many other hotels and next time I would explore a different one - may be the walls will be thicker.

Camelot Inn Anaheim 2009
We have stayed at this hotel many times and have seen it change from a very friendly overzealous staff to just an average "not so friendly" group of workers. Former continental breakfast is dwindeling to just coffee, juice, pastry and small fruit selection.

McDonalds is right next door with convenient hours. Better restaurants are a stout walk down Harbor Blvd. Probably about 3/4 mile away.

Great location for Disneyland, but noisy
Yes - the beds are hard, but maybe you like that. I don't but after 14 hours in Disneyland I slept like a baby. Breakfast - small but ample. Location - doesn't get much closer to the main gate. Price - I travel on business and stay at The Westin or The W and spend $160 night. This was $102 [...] and I thought that was a bit pricey for the quality. Here is the deal - if you are staying here it is because you are going to Disneyland - the location made it very convenient and it was clean.

Location, for the win!
We arrived at the hotel a little earlier than the check-in time. When I got to the lobby, I found 2 attendants paying more attention to what was going on in the streets than the customer. Yes, I was ignored for a good 5 minutes. When I finally had someone helping me, I asked for a possible early check in, but got a cold answer of, "You have to pay $45!" I declined, got my vehicle pass, and left. Around 4, I went back to check in & a diff. attendant helped me. She was friendlier. She was also surprised to see that I had been there earlier w/ my room & keys ready but wasn't allowed to check in. That made me frown upon the 1st lady. The rooms were in good condition although a bit dusty and dark. I got a 2 Queen Bedrm instead of the 1 King I had reserved. We were on the 3rd floor, so noise though manageable came from everywhere. I would also recommend bringing your own towels & flip flops for shower. Nonetheless, LOCATION saves this hotel. A short walk from Disneyland & several restaurants.

Great location for Disneyland
Great location if u wanna be close to park. We where able to walk back and forth from park. Everything is close if u want mcdonalds, and ihop and a few other restaurants. I wasn't impressed with their breakfast it tasted bad. I've stayed at other hotels and offer a great continental breakfast.

Hotel review Camelot Inn
Pretty good overall, but room had a smell and it did not go away even after I asked for a room freshner and neutralizer. Also, the wood closet was un-usable due to a strong odor inside. We could not afford to get our clothes "odorized" so we just used the hangers outside by the bathroom. Service was average but convenience to park was extraordinary.
