Great location, but no sleep!

It is a short walk to Downtown Disney. End of good comments. We had a ground level room and it was extremely noisy 24 hours a day. You could actually understand conversation of people outside and above the room. You could hear every footstep above. After being tired from visiting Disneyland all day, I could only get about 2 solid hours of sleep each night and I am not a light sleeper. The hot water in the show could not be regulated. The hair dryer didn't work. Maybe the worst was the parking lot which was always full no matter what time of day and we were blocked in on the last day when we needed to get to the airport. Pay more money and go to a better place and get your sleep. The Alamo isn't worth the cheap price.

Seen better days

The hotel needs some major updates. Location to Disney is great! So if you don't care much about the quality of the hotel, then this is a good place.

Stay for the location

Hotel was located within easy walking distance to the Convention Center. The staff was easy to work with and since I arrived before check-in time they allowed me to check my bag for no additional cost. The rooms were not the most impressive, but at the price I suppose one can't expect too much. My room had a fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker or iron. TV channels were adequate but limited. I also did not have a desk in my room, which would have been quite a pain had I scheduled a longer stay. I'd consider staying here again, but only if location and price were key considerations. I'd also try to book on a less expensive weekend.

Close to theme park at Rock bottom prices

Easy check in. All rooms have fridge and Microwave standard. Fridge was on the fritz but was replaced. Very close walking distance from the park. A little bit older but not bad.

a low budget option only

I normally do not write a review after a stay; however I am making an exception for this motel. I normally stay at the motel next door, but this motel was cheaper for the weekend I was going to Disneyland so I decided to give it a chance BIG MISTAKE. First of all the grounds a well kept and the exterior of the motel is in good repair. The motel does not have enough parking so there are cars parked in very interesting configurations at times it makes it hard to navigate to an open space. The rooms have not been updated in a while. Although it was nice to have a microwave and mini fridge in the room, the rooms are dark and extremely out of date. The room I stayed in had an old AC unit which was hanging out of the wall and had back mold around the caulk which held it in place. The ceiling had a large water stain running the length of the ceiling and when the shower ran from the room above me I could hear water dripping. The TV in the room is a small 20 inch TV on an arm mount and was very poor reception and the majority of channels did not work. The sheets on the bed were clean and the bed was well made but it was obvious they were cutting corners on the sheet quality as they were 150 maybe 200 thread count and very uncomfortable and not pleasant to sleep on. The room was very dark and gloomy although they did have nice plantation shutters on the one window in my room. The hot water in the sink and the shower were not functioning, and the toilet leaked all night long. Upon checking into the room I discovered the toilet problem, the tv and hot water issue in the sink and I was told by the front desk staff that they were sold out and I couldn’t be moved to another room. In the morning I discovered that there was no hot water in the shower. Upon check out I told the front desk person of all the issues that I had, she did not seem surprised by all of the issues obviously hearing them before. When I told her I would have to give a negative review she simply shrugged her shoulders. As an economic hotel stay if it was the last place you could find in your budget and walking distance to the park was a priority then take a chance and stay at this motel; but I know there is others within the same walking distance that at least have hot water. I will not stay here again.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had!

I booked this room because it was close to our destination and within our price range. The pictures looked nice & the rooms seemed decent. I just want to say that who ever took the pictures of this place for their ads is an amazing photographer because when we got there it looked NOTHING like the ad! The room was small & dingy. The carpets were so dirty that I didn't even want to take my shoes off. Some parts of the carpet were even damp & sticky. I DO NOT want to know why. They only left us 1 wash cloth & 2 towels for a family of 4 people. The worst part...NO HOT WATER!!!! We had NO hot water for 2 days! We complained on the first day and were told that maintenance was coming a 9am. When we returned to our room that evening we still had no hot water. When we called the front desk we were told that they would try to call the manager and see about getting us a room some where else, conveniently the manager never answered his phone. We requested maid service the second day we were there to come make beds & empty trash, & that was never done. Needless to say, I would NEVER ever stay at this hotel again.

Disney Joy

I read all of the reviews on this hotel and decided to ignore the negativity. I am very pleased that I followed my instinct. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. There was hot and cold water. Refriderator, Microwave, TV, and Hair Dryer all worked. No Bedbugs, Mice, or Roaches. I was very pleased with the room. Maybe a little outdated in decore, but a wonderful value and easy walk into Disneyland. I would definitely stay here again!

STAY AWAY!!!!!

Outside of motel is nice looking. Check in went smooth. Bed was comfortable. Room had previous guests trash still sitting around. Refrigerator didn't work, microwave was unplugged (found out why when I plugged it in and it almost caught on fire), only one bulb in the whole place worked, could hear man in next room talk on phone till after midnight. . .get the picture?
