Very comfortable

This seems to be a brand new hotel.Very comfortable and modern. It is along a busy road,so try to get room in the back.It is at the entrance to Napa Valley,so if you want to dine in Napa,it is about a 20 minute ride. But there are few restaurants closer by.

interesting and unusual

This is a green hotel and really did a good job of combining the green concept with a comfortable stay. It needs some more color in the lobby, but the Koi pond with the swans was a nice, peaceful addition. I will stay here again.

Modern Surprise in Napa

Nice experience. Seems like a quiet area that is up and coming; perhaps in a while this little city near Napa will have more conveniences. No restaurant yet, and staff were a bit confused but very friendly. Swans in the pond were gorgeous; nice pool area, and room size was generous.

Far from Napa

Disappointed that the pool is tiny, kidney-shaped, not accomodating for doing laps. Hot tub is even smaller; 4 people can probably fit at best. I think the space they used for a lagoon would have been better used for a bigger pool. Stairs and elevator are at far ends of floors... nothing in the middle of the hotel buildings; a little inconvenient. The restaurant is not open yet; they have a simple continental breakfast of pastries, yogurt, cereal and coffee in the morning. The bed is comfortable; closet is tiny; small refrigerator and microwave handy. In bathroom, there are dispensers at the sink for lotion and hand soap; in the shower for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Organic tea and coffee can be used with the small coffee maker. Beware of hotel rooms right across from the ice machine and vending machines on each floor... make sure you don't get those rooms!!

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Safeway and a sandwich place are 5 minutes away; Round Table, Starbucks and Jamba Juice are 2 minutes away. It's 20 minutes away from Silverado trail in Napa. There are two nice golf courses - Chardonnay and Eagle Vines, and a sake tasting site, Hakusan, about 5 minutes away.
