terrible welcome
The staff was so busy calling some one else a "butt head" and having conversation with themselves we were not helped with luggage, told where elevator was, or any other basics. Very rude

Bay Area Weekender
Bay Area Weekend at Yoshi's
Of course, I read lots of reviews many of them negative. My experience was fine. Didn't expect much so wasn't too disappointed. The previous weekend, I stayed at the Extended Stay in Alameda and hated it as the smell was unbearable. Decided to try it again but stayed this time at the Deluxe Extended Stay. A big improvement over the regular Extended Stay. There was still a bit of a smell but but not nearly like the other Extended Stay in Alameda. I would stay here again for a short stay in Bay Area. I did disinfect the room with Lysol wipes, especially the toilet which had only received a surface cleaning. Also, the refrigerator was turned off and the thermometer wasn't working that great. On a positive note, the front desk clerk was very pleasant and patient as it took me forever to find my photo identification.

You need a car to stay here because located in a business park away from any shopping. If you want a late check-out, best to call the front desk and ask as housekeeping knocked on our door once, 10 mins. before the 11:00 am check-out (which is too early) and again, after being told we were leaving in 15 mins. and a third time just as we were opening the door to leave 5 mins. before we promised.

Extended Stay Deluxe Oakland - Alameda
it was fine. Refrigrator didnt really work, but the freezer did. Room smelled like Teriyaki sauce, other than that, the staff was good and it was very roomy and comfortable.

My Most Recent Stay
The Hotel staff was great. Somehow I was put into a smoking room. The only other room available was a handicap room. It was different staying there because but I was glad to get a room. Disappointed they didn't have another room.

No frills, but comfortable
I travel often for business. The Extended Stay Hotel at the Oakland Airport is conveniently located, very quiet and off the main drag, and moderately clean. Having paid less than half their advertised price through[...] the value was good. However the hotel quality comes nowhere near warranting the $180/night it normally posts its rooms for. I would probably assign a higher rating if I had not been put in a position to have to deal with a completely unresponsive and/or incompetent front desk employee regarding the WI-FI service, which I paid extra for and needed for my work.
