Condo-like hotel setting overlooking a beach and lagoon
Coral Reef Inn & Suites sits on a lagoon across from the beach in Alameda, Calif. Truly HAPPY
REFRESHED & RENEWED
This was a thoroughly enjoyable and PEACEFUL experience! Thanks to my new friends Patricia, Raina, & Joyce who were All very Gracious, Polite & Friendly! Overall the entire staff helped to make my stay very comfortable. The city of Alameda is such a tranquel and beautiful place and I loved that the beach was steps away! The accommodations at CORAL REEF are very spacious & inviting, you really feel are home here. I cannot say enough about the view of the water. If you are seeking a Refreshing getaway then I encourage you to TREAT yourself to the beauty, peace and friendliness of CORAL REEF INN on the Lagoon, across the Beach! You will be glad you did!

Napa Girls Weekend
Much better value for the money. We stayed our last night here after 4 days in Napa/Sonoma. The continential breakfast was a nice surprise. Rooms very clean and staff friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Ask the hotel staff for coupons to wherever they recommend. Many have 2 for 1 or at least a % off that they can offer to you when asked. Great way to trip vacation cost and squeeze in something extra!

West side a bit noisy
Stayed Friday night, and my room was directly opposite a bowling alley which seems to a happening place for Alameda. Staff moved me to a much quieter room no questions asked. I'd stay here again, as long as my room was westward facing.

Close to the stadium and airport. $16 to get to the airport by taxi. Across the street from a shopping center. Fast food joint all around.

Yuck
Not that great. Good location. One staff member rude the other nice. Room were kinda dirty and outdated. Wouldn't stay here again.

Not a pleasant place to stay
When we check in at around 7 pm and while we are waiting to check in, there is some one from the next property, look like an apartment threw the beer bottle to the front entry of the Inn - Not a good impression already. there are 4 of us. Our kids are 29 y/o and 23 y/o boys and they are 5'11" and big boys, and they look uncomfortable. When go to our rooms, it was scary because the whole place look empty and not well lit. When in the room, the smell of the room was not pleasant. When we are in bed, we can feel the spring of the mattress on our back. In overall, it was not worth the money and the stay was unpleasant. We were glad that it was only one night.

NICE & QUIET HOTEL
Location is best, next door to a bowling center with a lot of eateries across street and within walking distance to the beach in a nice and quiet area. Can not beat their price for same kind of location hotel. Only catch is this is the kind of the 70's theme hotel, it is under-staff and needs some renovation. But if you only use the hotel for sleeping, it worth every penny.
