Not S plsce to stay - EVER

This hotel is not worth the price to stay. It should be condemed. The Beds were hard and old. The sheets were not changed. The hotel door was not even weather proofed. Cold air was seeping through the door. The continental was not even worth it. They put it out for an hour, then closed it.

Lesson Learned

My first impression of the hotel and the room was disappointing. There were few amenities and I never did find the ice machine. When I checked in the person at the front counter could not believe how much we had payed for the little room were to spend the next 2 nights in. He said we should have called the hotel directly and that would have saved us a lot of money. I made the reservations at the last minute so I went to [...]and apparently really over paid. The room was clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. The beds were on what looked like poorly home-made wooden platforms. The A/C worked well. We decided to stay 2 more nights and went to a nearby hotel where we paid far less for a much better room with pool and other facilities.

"Bearizona", a drive through, walk through wild life sanctuary was far better than expected. Well worth the time and money. 2 -3 miles from our hotel.

Don't trust the Indian at the desk

First of all, the place is really good to stay at. Very clean, well-kept, no problems. Would have liked to have stayed a second night, but the guy at the front desk gave me misinformation or was just a jerk. Said he could get me a better deal than online but when I went to see him, the price went up from what was online. It's very complicated and I will not explain it. But, if you can get a good price online, get it! Don't wait!!!

2 things: There is a Safeway in town, the town is really cute with great atmosphere, and great location to go into the Grand Canyon. But, the town has a ONE-WAY road that loops around the town. Don't go the wrong way.

Bad experienc in Rodeway Inn at Route 66

This is the worst motel in all north americal hotel/motel I have been in the last ten years. The shower facility does not work and it seems that it alread brocken for while. The sink takes 10 minutes to drain. As it is already close to midle night when we found it and the staff already told us this is the only room they have left, we have to suffere for one night.

Not bad!

Aside from the hard bed and despite this is an older motel, it was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and the description was very accurate. My wife and I were on a road trip and the location of this motel was very convenient to Grand Canyon access. Deffinately worth a look.

Friendly staff

Had to take this in a pinch. Got the last room--for disabled guests. No hangers. Scary nest of extension cords for refrigerator, microwave, floor lamp.
