The Worst

It's the worst hotel I've ever stayed in!! No elevator, no customer service and the worst part you can smell molds from your room.

A great place to stay

After spending two nights at a competitor's hotel we were very pleased to find this hotel clean and comfortable, and well-serviced.They have coffee on brew continually as well as popcorn, although that was a little salty. It is very close to downtown Williams, a quaint western town where we were also able watch a rodeo. We didn't eat dinner at their restaurant, Doc Holliday's, but it looked lovely. Also has a very nice indoor pool.

If you are looking to reminisce on the 60's get a burger at Cruiser's Café 66 in the heart of town.

Pool

We booked the hotel because it had a heated pool and whirlpool/jacuzzi. I called to make sure they did indeed have a heated pool and whirlpool. They told me they did but when we got there the whirlpool was broken both days we were there. Having kids we were disappointed. The morning we were to leave I called and asked when the pool was opened and they told me not till 10am but they would open early if we wanted to swim. That was a pleasant surprise

Cool AZ Winter Stay

Very cool outside but warm and cozy inside. Driveway was a little tricky to see but we made it just fine. Desk was helpful and very pleasant and were able to answer all my questions.

Grand Canyon excursion

The hotel recently changed brand from Holiday Inn to Ramada. It is a bit tired looking but did the trick. Rooms are large and clean. The gift shop which advertises a 50% off all merchandise sale is never open. We wanted to buy some souvenirs, but the staff did not know when the person responsible would return.

Helpful to our stay

Our stay in Williams was wonderful and some a good part of that was thanks to the Ramada and their staff. Our reservation was incorrect upon arrival, at no fault to the staff at the Ramada. The front desk staff was quick and happy to remedy that issue for us. We enjoyed the free coffee, tea and popcorn as well as the pool and hot tub for our kids to swim in and enjoy.

I picked up some pastries for breakfast the next day at the Red Garter B & B and bakery. The staff was friendly and the pastries were tasty.

Hotel In Transition

While the location of this hotel was great and its staff friendly, they didn't have my reservation on record when I arrived. They appeared to have this same problem with several other guests whom had made online reservations. This caused delays for me one night when I wanted to know where a decent pizza restaurant was in town. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, but wasn't impressed by the lack of preparation by the hotel.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If you can't find something to eat in Williams, then make a short drive over to Flagstaff, where you can find anything else you're looking for.
