Just Right for Our Trip
The hotel was clean, which is most important to us. We were able to check in early, with connecting rooms and the staff was friendly. There was no shampoo in the room, but that was the biggest "crisis" we encountered and was easily fixed. Good stay overall.

Easy Going Dude
Comfortable Beds but not worth $$$$
Good location in Williams, super comfortable bed/pillows, safe parking, quiet, staircase & hallways are super smelly not enough ventilation, room does have an initial bad smell which goes away after about an hour with the ac on. Breakfast is not good, no fruits available, waterdown juices, bad doughnuts, good yogurt choice though, super crowded eating area. Internet did not work at all, about 6 tv channels available... overall not worth paying $100 plus for this hotel, keep in mind Williams is a tourist trap so all hotels are expensive due to its proximity to the grand canyons park, shop around if I were you... oh, don't miss the shoot out re-enactment downtown Williams at around 7 pm, kids and some adults will like it. If you can, stay around the Flagstaff area instead and save your hard earned $$$.

central location to all of our travel destinations. Would like to see some different types of breakfast foods on different days. The same thing gets old.

Fairfield Inn Williams Grand Canyon
We stayed at this hotel because we were riding the polar express train and the lodge at the train depot was full. The room was suffecient enough although it was on the second floor with no elevators and 5 people with luggage. When I called to ask about a rollaway bed the hotel representative told me to ask when I got there, but when I asked at check in they said they were all gone. They told me I had to ask when I made the reservation! Very frustrating. Also, the breakfast buffet was terrible, they had no hot food except waffles, they had no fruit and they ran out of butter and margarine! There was a store down the road someone could have run to to get butter. The hotel had no vacancies so all the people that stayed there had the same lousy choices for breakfast. Will not stay there again. Would not recommend it.

Good and Bad
William AZ location 60 miles from Grand Canyon. Typical Fairfield Inn furnishings. Very comfortable king-sized bed but with only one bedside lamp provided inadequate lighting for two persons to read before sleep. High-glucose carbs for breakfast except for the unhealthy Jimmy Dean high-fat breakfast sandwich.

A great place to stay!
Their continental breakfast was better than any I've had, they even had a waffle station, everything was fresh. Rooms were clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. I was slightly disappointed that the hot tub was not working properly, it was open, but had no air bubbles as hot tubs normally do. I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Williams on my last trip to the Grand Canyon and this hotel was far better and well worth the money.

Short walk from hotel
Doc Holidays is a steakhouse inside the Holiday Inn a short walk up the street. They did have great steaks but the rest of the food was below expectations. The vegetables were overcooked and the salad bar needed to be freshened up. Save yourself some money and go to the Pine Country, it's a little farther to walk but they had great food and their pie was some of the best I've had. It's on Grand Canyon Blvd and the westbound side of Route 66.

Perfect place to stay if going to The Grand Canyon. There are nearby restaurants for dinner or lunch.
