Ranch outside Williams gives guests a breath of fresh air
The Quality Inn Mountain Ranch & Resort, centrally located six miles east of downtown Williams and near Interstate 40, surrounds guests in a ponderosa pine forest and borders the Kaibab National Forest. OK with the price
Shocked by the appearance only because we arrived around 10:00pm. It was all empty in the front parking lot and we can't find the front desk(It turned out to be just on the front right side but with a very very dark light). The room is at moderate size and clean but somehow with a uncomfortable smell. Fair with the price but not to expect too much.

It was a warm and friendly atmosphere but they could have used better bed linens. The linens were worn and the heat in the room was from a blower and quite noisy.

Williams is a very cute mountain town with down home, laid back atmostphere. The Grand Canyon is not far and is off Route 66.

poor room airconditioning.
My room did not have cool air and this was on June 16, when the temp was 106 degrees. Had to ask them to move us to another room.

adequate lodging
Staff was friendly. Buildings/rooms are somewhat dated and well used. Wireless internet connection was available. Horse back riding on property!

Downtown Williams is charming. It took more than an hour to drive to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Beware western type eatery in Tusayan - way overpriced for what is offered.

Family Friendly lots to do
Nice grass area all hotel rooms are one step out of your hotel room and you are in the grass. They have 2-seater swings to swing on, basketball hoop, pool, spa, kids can use golf clubs and golf balls for little green area they have on the basketball court to golf, it is just nice all the kids were out playing in the middle of this hotel. This is to hard to explain, but it was a great hotel and I will stay again in the near future
