Nice room

Room is newly decorated retro. Hard wood floors are nice but bed is uncomfortable due to it being on a hard box to support the frame. Pillows are big high foam. recommend buying one at dollar store for $4. No place to put your clothes. If you're there overnight it's ok you can hang them. Anything more than that and you have to leave them in the suitcase. Not enough hanging space for two people. in a pinch clean and great value. Old version of decor was better.

Stopover for Grand Canyon: Just enough

We were on a trip to Grand Canyon. I needed a hotel for a night stop after a long drive from OC. Motel 6 was just enough with no frills. If you need a decent bed to sleep and get ready next morning, then this is the place to go.

Bad place for us

They don't have hair drier for each room. It is very disappointing when you have long hair and the temp was so low. Their Wifi doesn't work continuously and is super slow. You can hear anything outside of your room even the foot steps above you. And they didn't think this website can charge tax into the total price when booking. Although they are friendly, I found this experience very disappointing because we were so tired and we couldn't get enough sleep for two nights.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a street full of Route 66 historical restaurants and gift shops. It is a nice place to hang.

Grand Canyon stay

Staff disorganized. Attempted to charge almost double of what I had reserved online. Showed her the email confirmation with total price. Still took another 10 mins to get her and the manager to agree to the reservation price. Room was nice size. No furniture. Plenty of space. Very few services in the town (couple restaurants, dollar store, and hotels made up the whole town) about an hour to the Grand Canyon.

Big room, clean and simple

The room is big and very comfortable. They provide just the basics but that keeps the price down. You'll need to bring (or buy) your own clock, Kleenex, etc. The pool is indoors only - we had weather which would have been nice for an outdoor pool.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Many good places to eat and shop in "downtown" Williams, which is only a few blocks away. We recommend Grand Canyon Coffee & Café, by the corner of Rt 66 and Grand Canyon Blvd.

Decent motel for the price

Overnight stay during Bearizona , Flagstaff, and Grand Canyon adventures. It was a decent place to crash for the night. We weren't there to spend time in the motel, so we weren't looking for anything extra in the way of amenities.

Grand Canyon Visit

We were a bit apprehensive when we first drove up. This is an "old school" motel where you park in front of your room (or very close to it), and still use a metal key instead of a magnetic key card. But we had seen good reviews online and we were NOT disappointed! This place is a wonderful little jewel! It was clean, comfortable, very well maintained, and very competitively priced. ANYTIME we have to say in or near Albuquerque, we will stay here!

Church Street Cafe - ask the staff at your Motel - that's how we found out! It's WONDERFUL food! Very quaint.

good motel 6

This one is a good motel 6, better than most motels I stayed in in this price area. Spacious rooms and great location for a trip to the grand canyon. Takes about an hour to get there.

One of the better, for a Motel 6

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Nothing fancy, just a clean, quiet nights sleep.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Everything you need is right there. Safeway foods, and Dairy Queen are a short walk. If you have time you get a nice bang for your $20.00 bucks at Bearizona.
