Last resort

Our reservation said room would be ready by 1pm and when we got there staff said it would be 2 more hours. We also had an issue with some one smoking near our room and they made no attempt to fix this problem. We won't stay here again.

A hassle at the end of a long drive is not worth it

Not great building. Not competent staff. Guard your personal info. We saw a stack ck-in info (names, license plate #s, addresses) sitting on the counter and unattended for a very extended period due to staff being AWOL.

Abandoned at the front desk

When we arrived, there was no staff at the front desk. We looked around, waited, looked around some more... There was NO staff in the building or on the grounds, the motel back-office door was wide open so the check-in counter was completely accessible. Computers,, supplies, and receipts (with personal info, if not credit cars numbers) were sitting in plain sight on the open and easily accessed countertop. We waited for 20 minutes... I considered calling police to report the odd and suspicious situation. After 20 minutes, the desk clerk arrived through the front door.

Nice overnight place

This hotel was good for a place to lay your head in the evening. It was clean, the tile/linoleum floors meant we didnt have to worry about dirt or bugs in the carpet, and they were pet friendly, even to our 80 pound dog. The room was deocrated dated 70's and the beds and bedding were average. Nothing to write home about. If you are coming up for the Grand Canyon, or to spend the days out. Not a bad place to stay.

Good for an overnight

The room was clean, comfortable. Bed was fine. We didn't need many amenities because we were just passing through town after a day at the Grand Canyon. It worked well for our purposes and was a lot less expensive than staying near the Canyon.

Great location

Location is great, you are within walking distance to restaurants/bars/supermarkets/etc. Check in was easy and the front desk employee was very nice. Downside when going to our 2nd story room was that there did not seem to be an elevator throughout the hotel. Our room was decent - beds were comfortable, I read a review about the floors being dirty: they are right. I took my shoes off briefly and put them back on due to my feet feeling gross walking on the laminate floor. For the price we got a good room.We would stay there again if we came to Williams.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Jennifer's Family Restaurant: Don't Ordered meatloaf and got 3 small Salisbury looking steaks SMOTHERED in brown gravy....and was charged $15 for it. Vegetable soup was overpowered by black pepper.

Grand Canyon adventure

The rooms have recently been done. Nice but lacked a personal touch. Pro, nice for a one night stay before heading to the Grand Canyon. Con, the hallways are very unclean and scary. Walked around my room after taking a shower and my feet were dirty. They cleaned but didn't detail I think it was just spray and swish, done. Loved the town. If I went back to the Grand Canyon I would probably choose another hotel.

Good budget accommodation

Stayed here overnight and didn't have any problems. The corridors are very scary looking, but the rooms themselves are recently remodeled any very clean. Across the street from the supermarket and a short walk to everything else in town.

Good location, just 1 mile from Hwy 40 and hwy 64

The hotel was clean. It is in very convenient location, Safeway, gas station just next to it. It is small hotel. We stayed here since we did not get any hotel near grand canyon south entrance. This is 55 miles from entrance.
