our "go to" place in tucson
i travel to tucson with my 2 daughters ages 11 and 12, once a year, and this is our second time at westward look. it won;t be our last. great location in the lower foothills. the rooms are large and comfortable. beds are extremely comfortable and worth the price in and of themselves. our fridge made a funny noise that was annoying at night, so i had to unplug it. otherwise, room was perfect. staff were all extremely friendly. top notch. pools are nice. unfortunately they have a mounted basketball hoop at one end of the main pool that effectively cheapens the entire main pool area. kids (and adults) chucking worn out, half deflated balls around is not conducive to a relaxing experience. seriously, management could instantly upgrade by removing that eyesore! back pool was quiet. a waiter or waitress circulating poolside would be a nice touch. exercise equipment is surprisingly inadequate. just a few cardio machines wedged into a small outbuilding. overall, full marks for the westward look. there are certainly shinier and fancier resorts out there, but this one served our needs perfectly.

Comfortable Weekend Spot
Stayed 3 nights. Enjoy the comfortable room and location. Food and other services are about average and looks like the management is working hard to get services above average. Great gym, tennis courts and pools.
