Very nice and affordable

Stayed at the Viscount Suites in May while at Tucson for my son's graduation. Plenty of convenient parking. Rooms were clean and had microwave, fridge, two comfy queen beds with a tv, and a nice sitting room with a tv. Buffet Breakfast in the morning was really nice. Plenty of choices for everyone. They closed the Pool at 10 pm...when it was nice outside and good for a swim so I missed that. The bar closed at 11:00 pm..on a Saturday night..odd since it was packed. First floor rooms are below ground level on the right side. Cooler....but they face east and sun comes up on that side. Atrium in the center is adequate but the fake plants are sort of corny. Water gurgling everywhere is a nice distraction from some noise in the atrium. Centrally located...I think...since I just went to the University for a couple days. About 10 minutes away from the Stadium. All in all, I think I would stay there again since the price was really good.

Great Place, except for a few

The suites were really fantastic!! We went to visit friends in other hotels and they didn't begin to compare. They did come immediately and fixed the nails coming out of the carpet. They did come immediately and brought us coffee and washcloths!

Viscount is a great value

We went down for Rockies spring training. The hotel location was great - on the main road made it easy to find everything. The room was more comfortable than expected. The bed wasn't hard and a great, large selection of pillows were provided. Breakfast buffet is an added charge, but worth it. You can get fresh omelettes and a good selection of other breakfast items. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Wings over Broadway is just across the street and has the best wings I've ever tasted. It looks like a little dumpy place (and it is!) but the wings really are the best - it's worth it!
