Our Stay At Viscount
When we arrived the desk clerk didn't represent the Tucson area or Arizona very well. She proceded to tell us about the diseases we could catch if we moved to Arizona. She wanted to continue to talk and it was 12 midnight MST (3 AM EST) and all we wanted to do was receive our keys and go to our room.

Great Place To Stay
The room was huge with a nice sitting area. Nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was $7 and pretty much tasted like your typical buffet, but that was the only low point. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Great central location.

Less than expected but functional
Staff were accomodating when assistance was needed. Facility location gave quick access to campus which was intent of booking. Facility as a whole is becoming run down and needs updates/upgrades - which left me with feeling pricing was high.

Viscount is a great value
We went down for Rockies spring training. The hotel location was great - on the main road made it easy to find everything. The room was more comfortable than expected. The bed wasn't hard and a great, large selection of pillows were provided. Breakfast buffet is an added charge, but worth it. You can get fresh omelettes and a good selection of other breakfast items. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Wings over Broadway is just across the street and has the best wings I've ever tasted. It looks like a little dumpy place (and it is!) but the wings really are the best - it's worth it!

Good Value
The place was great. We had college students and parents on spring break. Toured Tucson and the Saguaro Nat'l Parks, Desert Museum. Although it was quite a drive to everything except the Saguaro East, the location was not too bad. We took the public transportation in town much of the time and found it adequate and VERY cheap; the buss stop is right out front of the Viscount. Spent very little time in the hotel itself but found it quiet and well appointed. The only thing was that the floors in the room were not vacuumed either before or during our stay (the same sunflower seed was there the whole time as a test!). We did not eat there although it looked ok. Many restaurants line the street to either side. We needed some hardware too and that was across the street. Would recommend unless you are a clean carpet freak.

Very VaVa Va Voom!
We stayed at the Viscount because of it's location. It was real close to my sons house, of whom we came to visit. We are from Nebraska, we went to Old Tucson Studios, ae at some great resturants, but basically we came to visit. We had an excellent time. The weather was perfect. There is anything more that we could of asked for. Compared to some of the places that we have stayed well, just let me say this , there is no comparision. We felt is if I was were a celeberty. In other words we were treated very well. I would definitely recommend This place to Anyone.
