Good location/close to everything

located downtown within walking distance of some great restaurants and shops. Staff was courteous. Parking is an extra fee during the week. Stayed in a double room that was nicely decorated and perfect for a business traveler. Room was spacious and clean. This is not a value hotel, but worth the room rate I paid. Dining in the hotel seemed expensive, so I walked to one of the local restaurants.

Great restaurants offering a variety of dining choices for lunch and dinner. Had a hard time finding a place for breakfast though.

great location for the price

We were there to atend my son's orientation to the Univeristy of Arizona. The location of the hotel was right next to the campus and and easy walk. Since the weather is quite warm it would have been nice to have a mini bar in the room with cold drinks available. The restaurant was great for breakfast and very reasonably priced.

Tucson Marriot university hotel

The best thing about this hotel is the proximity to the University of Arizona. We stayed there for student orientation and it really made it easy getting to and from the school. Unfortunately ,there was nothing very special about the hotel. They charge $11.00 per day for parking, there is no continental breakfast, wireless internet fee was $12.95 per day, no happy hour in the bar and the pool area is dinky. Little perks like these would be nice and would soften the expensive price tag a bit.[...]Overall it was a fairly good experience but it is doubtful we would stay there again. Too pricey!

Great location, friendly staff

This was my fourth stay at this hotel, and I would certainly stay there again. The location was perfect for me: I was doing some work at the University of Arizona which is only 2 blocks away. One big plus for me is that there are several good places to eat within walking distance. My room was very spacious and great to work and relax. The staff was great. My only complaint is that Internet access could have been better, especially because they charge for it.
