Red Roof

This hotel is convienantly located to stores, the freeway and to downtown. But the lack of coffee in the rooms, and the weak coffee in the lobby didn't cut it and MOST hotels at this price range, and location offer some sort of breakfast. For the price it needs to offer more!

Found many rooms in tucson at better price!

We thought twould get us the best value but got to tucson and found hotel rates for much less! can you check for the best price garantee and rebate if possible. the inn was so so the bath tub shower was stained/dirty and the carpet not vacumed . we had to leave a note to get our ammenitys and the next day the room did not get serviced at all. Looks like we got screwed out of $40.00 a nite. Jay .

Red Roof Inn worked out great for me

I felt like I was close to everything I needed to be and a few things I wanted to be; theaters, resturants, and other attractions. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a lot of fancy ammenities but that is what I expected in a Red Roof Inn. They are all about value not luxury.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Tower Theaters is just about a mile north of the hotel and it is a great privately owned theater. I hightly recommend it.

Very Enjoyable!

We arrived after a rough travel day to a very courteous young man at the desk who got us checked in very swiftly. It was hot in Tuscon that day so the fact they already had our room cooled down nicely when we arrived was a wonderful bonus. Within minutes of check-in the young man rang up to our room and asked if it was all up to our liking. It was, and kindly let us know if there was anything we needed to please call. After dinner we came back and requested am extra chair for our desk since we had the King Suite and a desk, but only one chair (We both have laptops). The lady who was at the desk at this time went above and beyond the call of duty to find us an extra chair and even carried it up for us even though I told her I had no problem carrying it myself. The bedding was clean and comfortable and we slept very well! I will use this hotel again I'm sure!

If you cross back under the freeway on Ina, there is all kinds if eating places, grocery stores, gas stations...anything you would need. If you g one more exit up (Cortera I believe) there is a newer area with a Walmart and a bunch of different dining options also. Don't let the looks of the hotel location fool you (looks like there would be nothing close by).

great deal

this was a very pleasant experience. very clean..Dennys restaurant within walking distance, but by car turn left out of motel lot, and no end to the dining possibilities opt for the king bed with oversized room for a very small charge.. CAUTION !! there are 2 inns very close to each other,Be sure you are at the NORTH address..

Sleepless in Tucson

it was ok for 60 bucks. no complimentary breakfast, although there is a dennys next door.the only bummer was its right next to train tracks..CHOO CHOO!
