Motel 6 Tucson - Congress Street is located at the intersection of I-10 and I-19, 1.5 miles from downtown Tucson. Features include a beautiful, oversized, heated pool and a guest laundry facility. WiFi available in all rooms for a nomianl fee.

Good location to where my business was a

Decent, affortable place to stay a night

Check-in was quick and easy. I was always met with smiles and courtesy when I dealt with the ladies at front desk. The rooms were dated and small but was expected. The old TV decided to give out the following morning. Our AC unit worked very well, had to turn it up at once the room was cooled and comfortable. Stand up shower was kinda small and shower curtain was a little to short, allowing excess water to splash out and on to floor, but hey, the towels used to soak up the mess were not mine. Overall it was a decent, close place to get ready and sleep after a night of Star Wars music! ;)

Clean but can not follow directions

The hotel was clean and quiet. I loved the large walk in shower. However I requested no room service. When I was told on a Thursday that they had to come in every 3 days and that they would NOT service my room until Saturday I said that was fine. But not only was the staff in my room on Friday,but Saturday and Sunday as well! I checked out on Monday. They cleaned my room 5 times during my week stay despite my requests NOT to. Each time I reported this error to the hotel office staff, they were very nice and said they would tell the manager and write it down in the "book" but obviously no one checked that book and no one got back to me after my complaints.

THere were many restaurants within a short drive of this hotel. Also it was close enough (less than 2 miles) from the Convention Center to stay there.

If what you need is a room

This place is a very good deal. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Nothing more, but nothing less. For about $30 a night, you can't beat this place. And it is easy on and off the highway

For the best local cheap Mexican food, go to Mulca's truck on the south side of Grant just east of Stone. I love their food!

Good Location

It was a real nice place once I got to it. The interstate was closed and I stoped at one Motel 6 not ten blocks away and the gut didn't know how close I was to Congress motel. They should get together and know each other. The lady at the desk said this has happened before. I loved the place. Close to cafes and gas stations. I'm sure it will be much better after the highway is finished.

Very nice and clean and quiet

The main thing that was missing was hairdryers! Besides that no coffee makers in room! Room was very nice and clean and quiet!
