Honeymoon getaway

Great place to stay with a beautiful room and view. All the staff was friendly except a lady at the front desk, which is sad because she sets the tone for the whole stay. Other than her I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Amazing location, nice hotel

I've stayed at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort a number of times. It's a great hotel, with a couple of small drawbacks. First, they got rid of their signature restaurant, so now you just have a bar with with really high-priced food. The atmosphere just doesn't meet the price. Second, the hotel is very noisy. The rooms are set up along very long hallways, and either due to poor insulation or because the beds are fairly close to the hallway doors, we woke up repeatedly due to hallway noise. They also had a band playing which you could hear very clearly even though we were quite far away from the lobby. In the end, you can't beat the hotels location and decent amenities. They have great service.

Comforts of home while on business

The hotel is beautiful over all. The hallways that include indoor rooms are very outdated and need a little lift, however the rest of the hotel is beautiful. Great staff and very relaxing especially in the lobby bar area! Very comfortable rooms and beds. The only annoying thing of the whole experience is the fact that a 4 star hotel finds it necessary to charge a 10.00 plus fee daily for wi-fi in there rooms!!!! I travel ALL over the United states and stay in MANY hotels and this is the FIRST hotel that has ever charged! I say annoying because if you are on business like myself you do not want to have to go to the lobby to have free wi-fi.

Amazing place

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. The setting is gorgeous, staff very helpful and the food was great too. Bartender rocked...we ate in the main locale, not the restaurant across the parking lot. For those interested, the bathroom was beautiful- the one-door shower is a bit odd! Bed very comfy and the room clean. We had a small patio we loved- my error in not requesting a particular view but, we still loved what we had. Would love to go back and spend a longer visit.

Not the Level of Service We Expected

Our room was beautiful - no question about that, but unfortunately, when we checked in at twenty to five, it wasn't ready. We had planned on freshening up before our event, but that didn't happen. The front desk staff offered to upgrade us to the Presidential Suite, for a mere $600 more! It was beyond irritating! They also offered to put our luggage in our room, but that didn't happen, either. When we returned to the hotel at 11:30, we had to go through the whole check in rigamarole again, and they had to find our luggage. Disappointing.
