What a great get away
I had two fabulous spa encounters. They were both so wonderful, I felt utterly pampered. We also played nine holes of golf. The golf courses are beautiful and very straight. Although we only saw the beverage cart one time and it was hot. The pool was fun. There is a bar and grill at the pool so drinking a beer while in the pool was great.

PERFECT HOTEL!!
I stayed at this hotel for a business meeting and was very impressed. My company does several meetings each year which I attend. They host these meetings at resorts or upscale city locations. Of all the events I have attened, the Loews Ventana location was one of the best. The resort is very comfortable and well kept. The sleeping rooms are well appointed (great beds!) and nice bathrooms with flatscreen tv's. I stayed over for 2 days after my conference and there is plenty to do. They have amazing golf on site, great spa and a choice of dining options of which I higly recommend the Flying V. The resort staff is very friendly and well trainined without being intrusive - kudos for Loews for a great training program for their employees. I have stayed at a few of the top resorts in Tucson and they do not even come close to what you experience when you are at the Loews. This is the ONLY hotel I stay at when I am in Tucson.

Really Beautiful Hotel
We went to Tucson as our Military Healthcare Provider is there. Everyone was helpful, caring and seemed truely interested in our well being. We will need to be traveling back there in the near future as some tests were ordered, and we will definitely look at this hotel for the return trip.

Loved it
This is a great place for rest and relaxation. It's quiet, clean and classy with nice touches all around. The resort is built right into the foothills and blends in seemlessly. There's a nice network of short paths and trails that wind a little farther into the mountains, including one that leads to a beautiful waterfall. Every staff member was very friendly and the whole resort was eye-pleasing and immaculately clean. Definitely plan to stay here for future trips to the Tucson area.

Wonderful setting and service
The staff and service were absolutely the best, including passing free fruit, ice cream and cold towels at the pool. Terrific music in lobby on Saturday night and at the magnificent, original, southwestern Sunday Brunch. Lovely hiking right at the hotel and wonderful food at the Canyon Cafe, the Flying V, and even by the pool. Didn't try their award-winning spa, but hope to next time! Such a peaceful place - but with lots to do!

Truly relaxed mom
Dream getaway for anyone...
I went with my sister and my two college age daughters. We wanted an 'island' in the desert and it truly is. You never have to leave. we left once to eat out but next time I probably wouldn't leave at all. I treated myself and my daughters to spa treatments, worked out in the fitness center and relaxed in the desert oasis at Loew's Ventana Canyon. I would go again and again. Very good service wothout being overly servile....

I wouldn't bother with a car next time. Save the expense as it would end up in the parking lot the whole time!
