Short Stay- Good value

Had a short overnight stay in Tucson and this hotel was a good value. The price was good, it was a few miles from the airport, clean and the staff was friendly. Of note, I've never ordered the delivered morning breakfast before. I did and it was sooo worth it. A few dollars more that I would have paid at a restaurant but worth the cost. I had fresh OJ, a fresh pot of amazing coffee and a very tasty breakfast. Try it sometime. You won't be disappointed.

Neat & clean, good linens

We liked it. Staff was pretty good considering they had a convention in town. Had read reviews that the restaurant was good, I'd say it was okay, passable. They advertise the free internet but I couldn't get connected, as others had also said. Also, we had requested two double beds, we were two women traveling together and had to take a single queen bed room. Had already paid nonrefundable fee so I'd think long and hard about whether I'd do that again. Were there for the Gem show so we were really happy with the location.

Good, but lacking

The room was comfortable and the staff was very efficient. We enjoyed the restaurant, where the service was excellent and food prepared well. Being just a few miles from the airport, yet far enough to avoid the noise level, was nice. A couple of small complaints - no refrigerator, hotplate or microwave in the rooms. And, due to the restaurant, there is no continental breakfast included. Since we couldn't store any food, we were forced to go out to eat. Not a deal breaker, but something we consider when staying at a hotel. For the price, it was adequate. But for less we could have gotten a room with a kitchenette and continental breakfast included. For comfort and services it was very good though.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The hotel restaurant had excellent food and the service was top notch. Prices are average to high, depending upon your budget. If you have the means to relax and enjoy a good meal, take your time and relax. The setting is nice. If you're on a budget, there are enough restaurants within driving distance to save a few bucks. There is a list of nearby restaurants in your room.

Decent

Nice clean quiet rooms. Location is not bad but there is not much near the hotel. Plenty of parking. Dinner was good at the restaurant and the 2 for 1 drinks were well worth it. Breakfast was not good and Denny's is only a few blocks away so I recommend passing on the breakfast at this hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good Hotel

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Convenient location, away from the traffic of the city but a short drive from downtown, near an onramp to Interstate 10. They have a nice pool. I'm glad it was outdoors so I could get some sun. cable channels were good. they had a nice bar. they hooked me up with an excellent cab service. employees were friendly. I don't have any complaints at all really.

Waffle House is the best breakfast I've ever eaten. They don't have it where I live and I am not happy about that.

Nice full-service restaurant

I arrived late and left early, so having a way to get a meal was really important. The full-service restaurant was a great relief since it would have been hard to walk to find a place to eat. I enjoyed a full meal, was able to rest very comfortably in the guest room, wake-up call right on time, and free shuttle service to the airport was right on time too. All in all, it was exactly what I needed!

Time-saving tip: In Hotel

The good news: Airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes 24/7, which worked out perfectly! The bad news: This "airport hotel" is really not particularly close to the airport at all - about 10-15 minutes away. But in the end, I was very pleased and it didn't matter. Just plan accordingly.

Short Trip To Tucson

The point of the trip was to visit a family friend and to see Tucson for the first time. It was a short trip of about 3 1/2 days and we did not intend to spend time at the hotel beyond sleeping. To that end, the room was fine. It felt old and tired, but the bed was comfortable. The only major issue was that the A/C worked on a cycle, thus starting and stopping frequently. However, it appeared to perform adequately for the mid-90s temperatures we encountered in early May. Overall, the hotel was not great, but it wasn't horrible. Given the cheap rate we got [...], it was probably worth it.

The free shuttle bus to and from the airport runs every half hour and is very prompt. Reserve your seat on the bus for your return to the airport in case they are very busy.
