disappointing

We stay at Hilton hotels frequently and this is the first one that totally disappointed us. The staff was poorly trained and rude. The bathroom was a disaster. The tub had been removed for a shower stall with no footrest, the door wouldn't close, the toilet was rusty, and the sink wouldn't drain properly. When I called for a change in the feather bedding they informed me that they had no alternative and I should just use the extra blanket and remake the bed myself. Really? Never again at thiis hotel.

hilton Tucson

We didn't get the room that we originally booked. We wanted a single king bed but had to settle for 2 regular beds. The room had poor ventilation, the coffee maker didn't work, the pillows smelled like stale sweat and the TV programming guide defaulted to the adult channel order guide. I am very disappointed in the hilton hotel, this place is a sad excuse for a hotel and I won't be staying there again.

Routine

Everything was great except the swimming pool. I have stayed at this same hotel several times and the swimming pool is always very cloudy. It has so much chlorine that it is impossible to enjoy being in the pool for any length of time. When we go back to our room the smell of chorine lingers for a long time.

Hilton Tucson East

The hotel was decent. Air conditioning less than satisfactory. It was set at 65 degrees by the hotel but it clearly did not get below 78 degrees or so. Still not bad. However, the air conditioning unit made loud noises every time if finished a cycle which caused me to wake up about every 30-45 minutes throughout the night. There was also no ice in the ice machine on my floor during my stay. Complained to staff the next morning about the air conditioner and she said she would put in a work order. I think I should have been offered some kind of discount for the poorly functioning air conditioner but of course, that didn't happen. With the exeception of the above, nice room.
