great hotel
We stayed here before and will stay again. Staff is very helpful & friendly. Hotel is very clean. Nice pool. It was nice that it was heated. The casino was really nice too.

We had a great time last weekend at the Deasert Diamond! Thanks to the great staff we enjoyed a spotlessly clean beautiful room. Casino was nice, breakfast was yummy and staff was so helpful. If we ever go to Tucson again we would pick the Diamond again

Tucson Visit
The hotel was exceptional - the room had shutters that let is little light in the room, the bathroom was big, the room was clean and nicely furnished, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the ice machine even had ice. We had a room with a balcony and it was wonderful sitting on the balcony with our coffee in the morning and enjoying the beautiful desert scenery. Even watching the planes taking off was enjoyable. The casino was nice and not smoky and with plenty of penny machines! I would recommend this hotel to any visitors to Tucson. All 5 of us enjoyed our visit.

nice hotel, close to airport, fun
nice staff, good location, casino is fun but drinks aren't free! Also, cleaning service never came during our stay. They come late in the day (4 pm) and we were in the room on Saturday.

Bleh
A few problems with our stay. We stayed at the competitor's place the 3 days prior. The difference is night and day. This place is like a cave. Dark, dirty, smokey and despite the fact that it's only 4 years old looks like it's 20. The rug in the lobby has huge black stains on it like someone spilled an ashtray all over it. The location is good, near the airport but honestly that's all this casino and hotel have going for it. The food options are garbage. The steakhouse is good, buffet is fit for a dog, and the food court would be better served feeding rats. The beddings feel like they are made out of sandpaper. Definitely will stay elsewehere in Tucson on our next trip.

Nice hotel
Valet service is at the casino, NOT THE HOTEL ! Need to change that service. The web-site agent was rude...I won't use them again...the desk clerk said I could have booked through them...and receive an AARP,or AAA Auto Club discount......I may have mis-understood web-site, but still,won't use them again....

Great stay at great casino
Great rooms and staff. First time I've had to show proof of my room to eat at Continental Breakfast, though. Strange. Casino great, but not enough early-open places to eat.
