Room was very dark, bathroom sink was badly damaged, so much so that we hated to use it. TV remote didn't work. Carpet was badly worn. No printer in business center to print boarding passes. A terrible experience. We left the hotel a day early and booked a Hampton Inn for our third night! No value for the money!

Definitely got what I paid for...
Well the good thing was that theres a Circle K right next door with a Redbox outside. Was able to rent some movies and got myself some Pizza because Dominos Pizza is also right next to it. As for the room. The bed is pretty hard, definitely take your own towels, the ones they have there are really used and old and nasty. Don't flush the toilet paper down the toilet because then it will clog up. lol. In other words dont expect to arrive in a 4 star hotel, but i must admit the price was not bad at all.

The good, the bad, the really ugly
Front desk VERY pleasant and helpful, maids friendly, but poorly supervised, don't speak English at all, missed details like lights not working, towels missing, missing remote, etc. Couldn't connect to wi-fi after first night. Front desk graciously upgraded me to another room, very nice, but missing towels. Over all I really like this motel, just needs serious attention to details! Entrance to motel rather hard to see.

Good Hotel
For the money the hotel was a very good deal. The rooms were spacious and clean and it was a pretty quiet place to stay. I traveled with a group of nine and everyone else in our group was very happy with the hotel. It is also well located to many very good restaurants. I would stay there again.

Hotel staff needs customer service training. Did not receive a very warm welcome. We did arrive during a heat wave, so maybe folks were just hot and unhappy. Continental breakfast is nothing to write home about. There was not enough food placed out for hotel guests. First morning, they ran out of pastries, with exception of packaged oatmeal cookies, and coffee; it was only 7 a.m. Thus, I made coffee in my room. Didn't think to turn off the coffee pot before we left for the day. When we returned to our room later that night, our room smelled terrible. We discovered that the coffee pot did not automatically turn off and the terrible smell was burnt coffee. The smell was just AWFUL! The coffee pot in our room is a definite fire hazard. So check the coffee pot to ensure it automatically turns off before leaving your room or better yet, unplug the coffee pot when not in use. The third morning, around 6:45 a.m., there was no regular coffee or pastries available for hotel guests. I mentioned to the hotel clerk that they were out of coffee. She was on her laptop with her back turned to customers and she appeared a little annoyed that I mentioned to her that they were out of coffee. She smiled and politely told me that I could go to the store next door and buy coffee for only 89 cents. I felt insulted! They advertise a free continental breakfast so the least they can do is make sure coffee is available during the morning. Although I was already running late for an early morning appointment, I ended up stopping at a Starbucks. I need coffee to start my day. Our room did not have a sofa to sit on and only had one chair in our room. So we had to sit on our beds to watch TV. Also, we had two separate rooms and the TV was only in one room. Luckily, I brought my DVD player and watched movies I rented at a RedBox located near the hotel. We had to ask for towels each day to take a shower. Very inconvenient. I ended up buying some face towels at the nearby WalMart so that we could take a shower. Hotel is somewhat close to the U of A and West PIMA Community College; places we were visiting. However, hotel didn't seem to be in the safest neighborhood. Hotel has small refrigerator and microwave, which we used daily. My two teenage boys and I would stay there again; if the price is right. Skip the continental breakfast; not worth waking up early for this meal.

Short walk from hotel
WalMart is nearby. Save money by buying fresh fruit and cereal bars for breakfast. We also bought donuts, chips, water and gatorade at Walmart to save money. Might want to consider bringing your own bath towels to shower.

Price is right, but....
This is the first time I have ever commented on any website regarding a hotel room, but this one was warranted:The price was right, but upon getting out of the car we noticed [*], along with other shady people in view. We arrived late at night and knocked for 10 minutes on the office door with no response. Upon calling the office, the person on duty apologized and said he'll open the office in a moment as he just got back from responding to a domestic violence call in one of the rooms. The room we got was actually divided into two bedrooms with a door, one with the TV and the other with the a/c unit and bathroom. As a result one room was very warm. The carpet may have been vacuumed but it had lots of dark stains. It was old inside but other than that it was clean, especially the bathroom. The ceiling fan wobbled and made noise. The bed was OK overall I guess. The saying "you get what you pay for" barely applied in this case and I am still pondering that concept.
