Great Place For All Travlers

The receptionist went out of the way to get the room to me by noon rather than 3PM as originally told. Very Professional Staff and the Housekeeper's were friendly and went out of their way to ensure everything needed was available. No question that when I visit Tucson from now on, I will choose the Comfort Inn. Breakfast was excellent. Also easy on and off I-10 and easy to locate. Weldon M. Dube'

Nice for the price!

The location worked well for getting to different tennis sites for my son's tournament. Only real downfall was the continental breakfast -- poor selection, but the coffee was good.

Nice

The location is close to some local attractions such as Saguaro NP(west), Old Tucson Studios, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and International Wildlife Museum. The area is very quiet. The room we stayed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was pretty good. I really liked this hotel.

Best Value

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the Medical Center. We stayed at a hotel next door the previous week for almost 50% more than the Comfort Inn price. Should have gone to the Comfort Inn to begin with. We found the room comfortable, clean and with all the amenities you could want ... frig, microwave, iron, ironing board, etc. Not for those looking for a "spa" experience, or outgoing staff. But, an OK place for the money.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Go to Oracle Drive North. It takes a while, but we ended up at the Olive Garden and a very nice dinner and service.

Not to bad

Front clerk was asleep when we checked in (granted it was wee hours of the am) and had to yell and bang on the counter numerous times in order to checkin. Clerk tried to charge my credit card again even though i paid online. There were no curtains in the rooms which i found bizarre. They had the sheer curtains and ones on the side that are the thick ones but they were just for look and didnt cover the windows. So anyone outside could see into the room fairly clearly. The room was very clean and had no smell until we turned the AC on, then it was kinda smelly for 10 mins but it did go away and it was ice cold!! Came with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and iron. Bed was fairly comfortable and it had lots of pillows. Other than the slow check in and curtains i was very happy with the room.
