By freeway

Not sure what it is conveniently located to except for the freeway and the Waffle House. U of A is within driving distance. Shopping is within driving distance. Convention Center is within driving distance. But so is Mexico. Nice view of A Mountain, so it might be a good place to watch the 4th of July fireworks. Nice spa. Some maintenance problems. Light bulb out in stairway. Had to change rooms because the toilet ran. Staff seemed nice about it.

A lot to be desired

There was mold in the bathroom and a general feeling of old and not so clean. The internet access was a joke. This was a very poor representation of this chain of hotels.

Sleepless in Tucson

We arrived at about 10:30 pm,checked in...room looked fine and then the loud music started...continued to about 2am. Finally some sleep. The following day, we arrived back to the hotel and the beds were the way we left them...trash full, restroom dirty...last time we will stay there. I wouldn't recommend it to my mother-in-law.

1st Anniversary and Father's day getaway

The hallways were about 100 degrees, parts of the hotel grounds were trash free and some parts had trash. We went out too our car which was parked in the back by door B, there was a drug syringe right outside the door on the ground. neither ice machine worked i called and spoke with Felix and he had all kinds of excuses. wont be staying there again.

I won't be back!!!!!!!!!!

Repeat of last years experience "reservations for wrong night, but the staff took care of it. Rms 150 and 151. Bathroom in 150 is an abomination...big black holes in several areas of bathtub,,,grouting and tile mastic very-very bad and unsightly. Late & loud party outside of 151 prevented sleep 10-11 pm. Ask for wakeup call for Rm 150 at 4 am....did not call and result was late reporting for Tour de Tucson Sporting Event. 151 did get called about 15 min late. Overall maintenance of building-doors-halls says this is a skid row "DUMP"

I won't stay here again.

Hotel website says 3A approved-not listed by 3A. Hallways needed vacuuming & air conditioning both days. Ice machine top held with duct tape + bucket on floor. 2nd floor balcony door would not open. Moved across hall to noisy street side & tub was missing stopper. Next door complained TV was too loud-it wasn't. Rooms were pretty clean. Continental breakfast was OK. Sign outside priced rooms for $15/night less than hotel's or this website.

Ok

We stayed at La Quinta while at a soccor tournament, it was the only hotel we could find in the immediate area accepting pets. It is far from the worst place I have ever stayed but is in dire need of renovating. Our toilet was not functioning when we checked it but they did fix it. The beds are fair, but overall the entire room was just dingy. The staff is wonderful and there is a patio with surrounding grass so dog owners will be very happy.

Troubled Hotel

I came to Tucson for an job interview, so was looking for a place to get some restful sleep the night before. Needless to say, this didn't happen. Drunken partiers kept me awake the entire night... Management should have stepped in, or called the police. The room was nice with the exception that it did smell like smoke, as if it had previously been a smoking room and there was no attempt to rid the room of the residue. As we checked in, it was clear that there had been some kind of management upheaval, because employees were scrambling to deal with reservations that were weeks old.

Hotel is Dated and Worn

If location and price work for you then okay stay (my meeting was just down street and I have a tight budget). In depressed neighborhood off freeway with no local restaraut choices. Room was dated with wall patched that were not textured or painted to match walls (and, other signs of poor workamnship). TV dated with poor picture and TV guide not current with existing channels. Lack of pride in ownership.
