Arizona Riverpark Inn

This hotel was definitely good for the price. Not really close to anything within walking distance - a Carl's Junior and a Circle K gas station were down the street. The free breakfast was nice but birds were able to sneak in under the canvas covering. Microwave and mini-fridge in the room. A little inconvenient that the hotel restaurant/bar was only open Mon-Fri 5-9. I stayed here Jan. 2013 (2013 wasn't an option in the drop down menu for the date).

Great value for the price. Internet, parking and full breakfast were included in the price. Location is perfect as it is very close from Tucson downtown.

stayed here for 12 nights. except for some construction workers being really rudely loud at 7:30 AM the first morning i woke up, it was nice, cozy and quiet. if you stay here in january, be prepared to see tents going up all over the property- they are preparing for the gem and mineral show... it was very clean, and my queen sized bed was absurdly comfy. the heat worked well..the only slightly weird thing about the room i stayed in was that one of the walls was all glass/a sliding door that opened directly onto the courtyard. when people walked by, it was very loud. people did not walk by often, though. location is great if you have a car- 10 min drive from downtown/4th ave.

The day I arrived, the hotel looked like it was under construction and empty. There was construction equipment and material everywhere. I had to change rooms 3 times because of noise. First, the construction going on right outside my door. Secend, the fitness room was right above my room! The housekkeeping staff was lame. They did not vacuum when they cleaned the room and they left the clean towels in a pile on the sink rather than hang them on the rack. When I asked for another blanket for my bed, they left it folded on the desk. The breakfast was OK. The lobby was nice, with the fireplace on in the morning to enjoy your coffee and free newspaper. THe pool was too cold to swim in although it looked inviting. The ice machine was broken the day I arrived and never fixed although they left it running making a horrible noise. They obviously don't clean the hallways as they had cigarette butts that had been put out on the carpet and not even picked up. The room was large and the frig and micro very convenient. The baths were are very tired and needed some deferred maintainence ( like grout and caulk). I would not recommend this hotel.

The breakfast buffet was good:eggs, cheesy eggs, meat,waffles, muffins, pastries and begels. Room clea. Bed comfortable. Quiet didn't hear neighboring rooms check in and out was quick and hassle free.

breakfast is really good. the food is fresh and tasty.
