Great hotel: clean, quiet, comfortable, great breakfast (free)

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days. The hotel staff is friendly. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel has free WiFi. It also provides free breakfast from 6:30AM to 9:00AM. The breakfast is really good. Overall, it is a great hotel at a very reasonable price.

Consistently Good

I love the Riverpark for everything it isn't. It isn't pretentious. What it is: A well located motor inn with a kickin' breakfast and some really nice ammenities. What it isn't: A resort with resort pricing. The place is old, and it is right by the freeway. That being said, the rooms are well back from the road and very quiet. Although the rooms are nothing special; they're clean and the linens are crisp. There's a pool and a huge spa, and even a set of tennis courts. You've got to get up pretty early for the free breakfast, as they only serve from 6:30 to 9:00, but it's well worth getting out of bed for. The eggs were scrambled with and without ham and cheese, there was sausage last time we ate there and on other occasions we've had bacon. There was a waffle station and three different juices. In addition there was a selection of muffins and sweet rolls, cereal and toast, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and decaf. We've stayed at the Riverpark many times and have never been disappointed. We will be back.

Convenient Downtown Location

While located adjacent to I-10, we had no issue with road noise. The hotel is certainly dated, but our room was clean and daily housekeeping was good. The hotel boasts an attractive courtyard with lush foliage, pool, hot tub, tennis court and squash courts. Our king-size room included a microwave and refrigerator. The buffet breakfast was very good and included a diverse menu, including the ever-popular waffles. While the television was old, it worked well, as did everything in our room.
