SpringHill Suites by Marriott Phoenix Tempe/Airport

The rooms are large with free wifi. The mini fridge and microwave and kitchenett was a nice touch. The only park of the room i did not like was the set up of the king suite, there is a small wall that does not let you see the TV from the bed, I have stayed in the room with 2 queen beds I really liked the room set of a lot better with two TV's. The only bad part wa that the hottub was cold overall great Hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms.

In addition to the airplanes - which we expected at the location....we could hear toilets flush as if they were in our own room. The air conditioner was so loud, we had to turn it off so we could sleep.

Usually $89. but this night was $119. Only complaint is check in attendant did not look to see the room was prepaid and I was double billed. Not good.

I had a very large room; actually a suite. I did not need all that space as I was barely spent any time there other than to sleep. Unfortunately my room had no view; blocked by the Hotel apron. I liked the courtesy bus from and to the airport. The hotel was directly in the path of low flying aircraft and was thus noisy until late. The walls also appear to be paper thin and I could here noises from inside. On the plus side, it was close to where my business was. One day the room was not made when I returned around 3:30 PM for a little rest. As I spent the next hour there, the room went unmade. The hotel is nice otherwise.

We had a wonderful stay. The real value add is the breakfast especially for families.

The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and a great value.

The staff was courteous and friendly. I liked that breakfast was included and the hotel offered free-wifi. They also had a shuttle that was willing to take you to downtown Tempe (as long as it did not have any airport runs to make). I didn't use the shuttle, but it was nice to know the option existed. The room was nice and clean. But FREEZING. I did not see any reason to keep the room at Artic temperatures when no one was there. I turned off the air conditioning for most of my stay. The one thing I did not like about the room was there was no formal closet. There was a corner area where one could hang clothes etc. but it was not a closet. The towels were clean, but felt a little old and much used and small in size. I also was disappointed by the unnecessary use of styrofoam cups - but I noticed that other places I visited in Tempe as well.

Breakfast is not v good. soggy scrambled egg and no potatoes/hashbrown. Room had a stink but was clean. Great location.

The hotel was perfect until I noticed the bed sheet was wrinkled and with a couple of hairs in it. I guess someone decided just to make the bed again. At this point it was 12am and I had to catch a flight at 5, so I just left my clothes on and got some sleep. It sure was a shame because everything else in the hotel was nice and clean.

There's a well-insulated quality to the rooms when it comes to sound. The hotel is near one of the outbound flight paths out of Sky Harbor, but the flights stop past around eleven. Otherwise, you only hear a dull, faint roar, and after the flights stop, you can hear a pin drop. There's a certain classy anonymity to the place that I really liked. Nice amenities (such as the wet bar and the 40" television and the free Internet access), and a clean, soft bed. Had a great stay, and would stay there again.
