The Rodeway Inn Near AZ State University is ideally located near Arizona State University, Wells Fargo Arena, and Sun Devil Stadium and Frank Kush Field. Many spring training venues are nearby. The Metro Light Rail provides easy access to ASU, downtown Tempe and Phoenix. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Cardon Children's Medical Center and Tempe St. Luke's Hospital are also in the area. Hotel amenities and features include free continental breakfast, free wireless high-speed Internet access and an outdoor seasonal pool. Pet accommodations: 25 per pet and a 50.00 refundable deposit. Pet limit: 2 pets per room maximum of 25 pounds.

been staying for couple of weeks was ok priced but just rised price by 10 bucks a night . can get room with kitchenete for same price . this room had small refrig but no micro .time to move on.

It fit a need

My wife and I stayed here night before 2012 PF Chang ½ marathon. This was a 5 min walk from metro train stop we used to get to start line. Room listed 2 fulls, but beds were narrower. Pillows very hard/lumpy; had to bring in own. Otherwise, room basically okay. Good large dorm fridge and medium tube transistor tv w/decent cable lineup (Showtime). Desk clerk friendly, if a little tough to understand - also, she seems to have been the only staff member there, through all Sat night & into mid-day Sun. Somewhat noisy/heavily trafficked throughout our stay. It's okay for what it is; nothing more, nothing less.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Less than five minutes to metro train station. This station is almost at eastern termination of the current metro line (not very far west of Mesa city border).

average for single

room was clean tv was realy good price was good had frig. but no microwave room i looked at before i booked on line had the microwave in it .bed is very hard and uncomfortable room was very large and i used a folding chair to sleep in. price is cheap for snowbird time and will go back to other hotel when prices go back down but will stay here for now.

Affordable, always available

It would be a great place to stay if the light rail station was closer. The neighborhood is a bit shady, so if the neighbor was a bit cleaned it up, it would be better. It is better to walk on the north side of the main street, rather than the south side. A good place to stay if on a budget and need to stay for only one night.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Short walk to light rail station to Mill Avenue for nightlife. Walk to the station before the sun goes down. If sun goes down, take a cab to and from the station on McClintock and Apache.
