worst bed ever!
We were traveling & staying in the area for medical treatment and really needed a decent night's sleep. After tossing and turning for a couple of painful hours, we realized none of our family in either bed was going to get any sleep. We had 2 double beds and they were absolutely the most uncomfortable beds of any place we had ever stayed! We ended up checking out at 10:30 that night, and the hotel clerk was rather indifferent about our situation and didn't offer any kind of refund for our trouble. We stayed in a different hotel that night and thankfully had a good night's sleep, (despite the hassle of packing everything back up and finding a different place to stay late at night!)

Inexpensive, Convenient, Friendly!
This is the third time I've stayed at this specific Red Roof location- and I was still really pleased. The staff is so friendly and helpful! I plan to continue staying here every time I have an early flight- it's close to the airport (5-10 minute drive) and decent restaurants. Amazing deal for the cost-- highly recommended!

Thanksgiving Getaway
This is the third time we've stayed at this location. It's an "okay' place to stay. Our reason for staying here is LOCATION. It is in the heart of everywhere we go... It could use upgraded beds. Beds are a lilttle old. Other than that, it's a fairly good place to stay.

Arizona Mills Mall is less than 3 miles down the road. Take a left on Broadway Ave to Priest Drive. Take a right on Priest Drive. You will run right into AZ Mills on the right (Just past the freeway underpass).

Good value and location
Hotel is in a nice spot close to many restaurants in downtown Tempe and not far from the airport. Desk staff, Eric was very helpful.

red roof inn
the front desk person was very nice. the bed was probably the worst I've slept in. I ended up moving hotels- and am unable to get any $ back from the 2 nights I did not stay at the red roof inn. very disappointing.

Nora was outstanding. She went above and beyond. From the very first phone contact to checking in to checking out she was very helpful and attentive. Extremely knowlecgable about the area, personable a true asset to the Hotel.

Wonderful surprise
The price was so low that I feared I would be in a dump with no travel advice to depend on. The hotel is clean and attractive, the attendants go beyond the call of duty to help with advice about transportation and maps. It doesn't have a restaurant but they partner with restaurants that bring food to your door. I had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Excellent. Good lighting for the work table. I enjoyed myself greatly. I only needed to be closer to ASU - and the bus two blocks away got me to the university in 15 minutes.

There is no ATM in the hotel although they can give you change at the front desk. If you think you'll be using the bus bring dollar bills and change. (A day pass costs 2.60).

Booked it without properly researching and ended up paying $20/each way for a cab. Pleasant enough, otherwise.
