Quality Suites near Old Town Scottsdale

I booked this hotel based on a recommendation from a friend who had heard from other friends that it was a nice place. I, however, was not impressed. The room smelled of urine when we first entered the room (and every time thereafter). The dresser that held the TV was so close to the corner of the foot of the bed that we had to turn sideways to get by it. There was paint peeling of the walls in may places of the room and bathroom and dirt and grim buildup on the bathroom door and walls. Knowing it was a lesser priced hotel in the area I wasn't expecting anything glamorous, but the urine smell that greeted us every time we entered the room was almost unbearable. Since we were only there for one night, we chose to tough it out. Otherwise, we would have checked out immediately and gone somewhere else. On the plus side (to which I am surprised) the bed was fairly comfortable and the microwave was clean. Overall, I feel that because there are lots of other hotels nearby and some with comparable prices that I'm sure we will find a cleaner, fresher, better designed room for our next trip to the area.

All great. Nice place to stay. Room is huge and has a splendid living area.

We were in rm 135. Although the room was clean and in it's day was probably nice, that day is gone. You could tell there was a water leak from the room above at some point and they did a poor job of repair of the sheet rock. I would also recommend you bring a pillow, their pillows are what I call a half pillow, not the best.

Thte roms were large and immaculate. The bedding was clean and new but, the carpeting and furniture looked worn and shabby.

The room was very clean and large. The bedroom was seperated from the living room and both had a TV. I did have a rather noisy couple next door, but the rest of the guests that I came across were very nice.

The hotel was OK if you just looking for a place to crash for the night, nothing spectacular. The hotel was old but clean.

Room needed repairs and was not very clean. Cracked window in bedroom, light bulbs were burned out, carpet dirty, knobs missing on cabinets, TV screen damaged resulting in black spot on all shows. Hot Tub jets didn't work. Location was fine but hotel needs better upkeep. Front desk staff were friendly.

good, but failed to make- up room one day. Nice location. Pool and work-out room appreciated. Helpful desk clerk, but guest computer/printer not working. Desk clerk was able to print boarding passes.

We went to Arizona for a wrestling tournament being held at Arizona State University. The hotel was in a great location, it was priced really well for how close it was to the school and the rooms were nice. I have no complaints about anything, the service at the front desk was great on top of everything else.

Just say no!!!! This was a guys trip. We can handle bad, but cat urine? You could smell it from the outside!! Dirty towels with "red stuff" on the USED towels? French fries in the pull out sofa that couldn't go all the way out due to the TV. The person who checked us in wouldn't even go see it but "I believe you here's some new sheets and you can get towels off the cart somewhere, we're all booked". Yea, we paid to stay here?The other clerk was also useless [...]. One positive note, the morning manager(she knows who she is } did her best to provide customer service and make up for it.{thanks again}. Rooms smelled of smoke and dirty old whatever!!..
