Secluded resort setting with majestic views and central Tempe location
This mountainside oasis sits on 25 acres. Expect respite and recreation at this resort near Scottsdale and Phoenix. Rooms are well-appointed with amenities such as marble bathrooms and windows that open. There are five on-site restaurants and lounges including the Top of the Rock Restaurant with vistas of the city. There is also Narande Spa. nice stay
I enjoy the complimentary free coffee and water. The landscapes were goregous along with the beautiful swimming. I was worried about the close proximity of of the freeway, but you couldnt hear the noise.

Lovely place but service lacking
I have stayed at this hotel once before and very much enjoyed the amenities and location. I was quite disappointed with the service this time, however. The room was not made up once during the 2 nights that I was there. The one morning that I had breakfast, the service was extremely slow and there was work going on in the dining area. I asked, the night before checking out, if my statement would be ready for me, under my door, as I was leaving very early the following morning. I was assured that it would be. It was not, so I had to spend time at the front desk (which was quite a distance from my room) checking out, which inconveniently delayed my departure quite a bit. I would return to this hotel, however, as the location is very conveninet for me, I very much like the surroundings and the staff were pleasant.
