Pleasantly Surprised
This was a short stay-I had an early flight Monday morning and wanted a hotel close to the airport. This was the first time I had stayed at a La Quinta Inn and I was impressed. For the price, the room was beyond any expectation I may have had about the hotel. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the airport. The staff I came in contact with were very friendly and polite. The room was clean, spacious and tasteful. This is my new hotel of choice-I will absolutely stay again and recommend La Quinta Inn to anyone!

Great for the price, but......
I was informed that the airport shuttle only ran until 11pm (we arrived at midnight), so we took a cab to the hotel. when we got there, what pulls in behind us is a shuttle full of people. I informed the girl at the front desk what I was told and she was speaking to me like I was making the whole thing up. Why would I make something like that up?? "yes I wanted to pay $20 and take a cab and NOT take advantage of the FREE shuttle." I didn't appreciate her attitude at all. Rooms were very comfy and clean. Breakfast in the morning could have been better. But it was free. Denny's is right next door as an alternative to the free breakfast. Over all, not a bad place for the price if you're just passing through town like we were. Staff needs to work on their customer service skills!

Great location & service, amazing price!
We stopped at the hotel for one night before flying out of Phoenix. The hotel was in a great location and offered a free shuttle service. We asked for a room on the top floor to ensure a good night's sleep and it was nice and quiet.

There is a Denny's close by which serves ok food, otherwise the hotel's taxi service will take you into the nearest shopping centre.

Great staff, great hotel, Great price!!!
It was my third time staying at La Quinta Inn. Close to airport and to ASU my son's school. Always fast check in and out. Friendly staff.

dirty bathroom
I thought that this was a bad deal. The bathroom shower would sray out burning hot water when you would take a shower. The tub was black with dirt and just gross. I have to say I couldent wait to leave in the morning.

Parking charge surprise
We chose this hotel due to the airport shuttle and complementary breakfast. We didn't use the shuttle after being informed that there would be a $10/day charge for leaving our car in the parking lot while we were gone for the weekend. Maybe this is customary with hotels that have shuttles, but we've never experienced it before. We were told that the charge was higher because we booked through [...].The breakfast was okay for a budget hotel- coffee in styrofoam cups with just powdered creamer, but also bagels, fruit, and hard boiled eggs. The room was decent, although with a noisy air conditioning unit cycling on and off. We thought we'd save a few bucks rather than get a higher rated hotel since we were just there to sleep for a few hours, but in the future we'll spend a little more for a more pleasant experience.
