Eclectic

Location is great for ASU visitors and spring training in Mesa and Tempe. Also close to freeways and other local attractions. The attached coffee shop is a bit pricey for breakfast. I recommend this hotel.

Just OK

My experience is just OK, there is very strong smell in the room maybe because it was renovated not long ago. I complained with the Front Lady and she tried to solve the problem and led me to other rooms, but I found out they were just similar. Finally I decided to turn on the air-conditioner and opened the door. Gradually, the air was getting better.

My trip

I know the hotel just opened. They need to get the kinks out. But the staff needs to be more experience not staffed by ASU.

Horrible Service

Not much more needs to be said. Everyone from the bar staff to the front desk moves at their own pace. Good luck getting any issues resolved. Very disappointing stay.

Nice place, close to ASU

The overall feel of the place is nice, but for the money the hotel should provide breakfast. The room was clean, although the mattress was a bit firm. Water pressure in the room was a tad low for my taste and the coffee machine in my room did not work.

Super Bowl Weekend

What a wonderful hotel to spend the Super Bowl weekend. The minute we walked in we were greeted by courteous, helpful and friendly staff. We checked in very late at 10:30pm thinking most of the "choice" rooms would be gone. I asked if there was a quiet room away from the elevator thinking nothing would be available so late into the night on Super Bowl weekend. The staff immediately successfully assisted me in locating a quiet room so far from the elevator. The room was spacious, clean and very thoughtfully designed with the college theme in mind. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. We took advantage of the complimentary shuttle the hotel offers pick up and drop off from and to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and anywhere within 3 mile radius from the hotel. The location was centrally located in Tempe and in relation to Phoenix and other suburbs. The restaurants served great food at reasonable prices. The only reason I gave 4 instead of a 5 for "value for the money" was because I paid four times the normal price for the room because it was the Super Bowl weekend. But that was expected from all hotels in the area. Otherwise, it would have earned a perfect score from me. I would definitely stay and recommend this hotel. I would also like to stay at their other hotel by the same name in Athens, GA.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Best hotel to stay in if you're attending a graduation at Arizona State University. It is directly across from the campus.

Nice place

This place was recently renovated and it shows, nice and clean. Since they are new they did have some troubles working the bugs out of the TV service and WiFi. Staff is very helpful. Location is perfect too.
