BEST WESTERN PLUS Tempe by the Mall

The staff was very nice. We did end up with two lotto tickets missing from our room though.., & I did see one (1) bed bug on my bed, ew!

After a long day of traveling delays, we finally made it to this hotel around 2:00 in the morning. As soon as we arrived, and until we checked out, every single staff member was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel was immaculate; the room, the pool, everything. Breakfast was awesome, they have a 'make your own waffle' station, and biscuits and gravy! As well as eggs, fruit, toast, bagels, etc. This is honestly an oasis in the desert, it feels like you're in an old timey spanish villa. There is a huge atrium w/ cacti in the lobby. I've never written a review for a hotel before, but this one deserves it! If we find ourselves in the Phoenix area in the future, this is where we're staying!

The hotel was above average. A bit noisy, too bad security did not keep the floor above us under control. I was trying to figure out what the $4 charge was for on our credit card but it would appear that it was for the bottle of water that was sitting out. Reminded me of a liquor bar that you pay for what you use. Too bad it did not say that there was a charge for drinking it! Pretty cheap on their part.

Hotel was clean, quiet and convenient to my business requirements. Breakfast selection and quality was good. Friendly service and when my taxi did not arrive, transportation was provided through their shuttle service to my business meeting location, allowing me to make the meeting on time.

The staff was so friend and the rooms were very clean. It was worth every dollar I spent and I plan on returning to this hotel when I come back into town to visit family.

Great location. Rooms have been renovated recently, but remainder of property does appear somewhat dated. Room cleanliness was satisfactory, as was comfort of bed. Breakfast not good. Local van transportation very convenient.

Stayed two nights on our family trip through Arizona. Always try and stay at a Best Western when traveling, we've had good experiences with these hotels plus I get rewards points when we do. Room was good, beds comfortable. I did notice that they didn't provide complimentary water in room as in my past stays at other Best Western hotels. There was one thing that did bother us in the room was the fan on the air conditioning unit that made a lot of noise. However this did not stop us from enjoying our stay overall

We only stayed here 1 night but I thought this Best Western was great for the price. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was better than at most hotels. I just thought the pool and hot tub weren't very attractive. Since we weren't using them it didn't matter, but just for the record.

Very clean hotel with all the amenities we wanted. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value.

The staff was extremely polite and friendly. The location was convenient to downtown Tempe where I spent most of my time. The free breakfast was a great value, the room size was good, and the bed was very comfortable.
