Chairmans Award Property. The Days Inn St. Johns, Arizona is close to numerous prehistoric dwellings, petroglyph trails, and archaeological finds. The Petrified Forest and Painted Desert are 43 miles northwest of St. Johns. Further north, day trips to the Apache, Navajo, and Hopi reservations draw visitors who wish to experience the southwest. We offer a free continental breakfast, free wireless high speed internet access and all rooms feature a 32 inch LCD television, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and hairdryer.

HORRIBLE

Do not stay here... Room smelt so bad they sprayed a super air freshener that made it worse .. Room filthy.. Looked like all they did was change the bedding and dump the trash ... Or did they change the bedding ? Continental breakfast was suppose to be at 6 did not open until about 7 . Coffee pot, microwave and refridg used but not cleaned nor was there any coffee or cups ..no bag in dirty ice bucket ..shower moldy .. Towels even looked dirty.. Floor was not vacuumed and the whole room was very dusty even the chairs had dust all over them.this Days Inn won the chairmans award in 2010 & 2011 don't know how

Overnight Road Trip

I was greeted by a very friendly man and checked in for the night. He indicated that the continental breakfast would be 6 to 9 a.m. The room was clean and neat. However, the air conditioner and the bathroom fan sounded like 747's. We turned the air off and since it was cool out were not too uncomfortable. Then we got to listen to the refrigerator running. We stopped in the breakfast room at 6:15 a.m. There was no coffee made; 2 eggs under a dome-may have been boiled; English Muffins; donuts, a muffin and danish on another plate. If I could change things it would be: a quieter air conditioner; remove the refrigerator completely and replace the soft plastic cushy toliet seat cover with a hard plastic and make sure it is tight. This is not a bad place to stay-if you need a hotel in the area. If not, keep going to Showlow or Payson.

There are no decent restaurants in St. Johns. For that matter there is not much of anything except a Circle K. Not so long ago it was a pretty busy little town but business have gone elsewhere and now it is almost a ghost town.

Best Hotel in town

The room was much larger than I expected and it was on a separate side of the hotel that offered alot more privacy than the others. We did not care for the City of St. Johns but were glad we picked this hotel over the other one located in the area. There were no coffee shops (starbucks, etc.) located in town and only had one restaurant that was average. Other than that there was not much else to do.
