Great view
The Orchards Inn had incredible views of Oak Creek and the surrounding red rock. It was a very romantic getaway and we will definately choose this hotel again. All the staff members were very prompt with our requests. The location is excellent right in the middle of Sedona.

Great view, Great location, The Orchards Inn restaurant also had great food. we were dissatisfied with the room on the lower floor with no privacy balcony. Other wise the Orchilds Inn was a great place to stay.

breathtaking views
This hotel is worth the price for the wonderful view out the attached balcony! It was clean, and very quiet, but the front desk had limited hours of operation. The parking lot was overcrowded, but once you parked , you could walk to shops and restaurants nearby.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
There is a free shuttle bus that can take you to shops nearby. Get a red rock pass and hike and climb ! Just use a map-hard to guess how far away the red rocks are.

Problems with checkin, but nice hotel in the middle of Sedona
There was some confusion with the checkin. I arrived early. They told me the rooms were not ready and that checkin was at 3 pm. She hinted that rooms would be given out on a first-come basis after 3pm. The hotel was booked to capacity and she didn't really see the need to dish out the customer service. I experienced a little take it or leave it attitude. The King room was very nice but not very private. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Parking was not sufficient to cover the restaurant and the hotel. The restaurant was nice but service was very slow. There are many other, very nice restaurants in the area.

Short drive from hotel
Sedona is crowded, but just a short drive away is some of the most beautiful country. I recommend a 4x4 drive if you don't have your own ... try one of the jeep excersions. Stop by any new age shop and pick up a Vortex book. Read it and visit the vortex sites. There's magic in Sedona ... really!
