couple's overnight

The room was reasonable well-appointed. Lacking was a wall outlet adjacent to the full-length mirror for my wife to finish drying and preparing her hair and to continue her preparations for the evening while I showered. I found an extension cord used for a floor lamp and made it work. A microwave in or near the room would have been nice also.

Fantastic place to stay

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel. We love that it's smaller and more intimate (74 rooms). Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of places to sit, be quiet and read a book. The spa was wonderful with top notch service. I cannot say enough about this great hotel. We will definitely be returning.

If you are into wine tasting there are 3 wineries in Page Springs which is about a 15 minute drive south of Sedona. After spending a lot of time in California wineries, we were pleasantly surprised. Page Springs Cellars was our favorite.

Beautifully decorated throughout

This trip was scheduled as a last minute one night retreat. Our GPS was a little off and took us to the wrong location, when I called to ask for directions the woman on the phone sounded frustrated, nonetheless we made it to the hotel. When checking in we were presented with a pet policy since we brought our furry little one. The policy states that there will be a onetime $50.00 non-refundable cleaning fee and a $100.00 refundable hold on your card. I have a couple of issues with the $50.00 non-refundable fee. 1) Regardless if you are staying one night or five the fee is $50.00, we checked in at 4pm and checked out by 6:30 am. 2) When I saw that we would be assigned a “pet friendly” room one would think that this would include some amenities for them as well. The room did not. It would have been nice to have had a few treats in the room along with feeding bowls and a mat that goes underneath to assist minimize food waste on the floor. The man that checked us in was very nice and offered a doggie treat while we checked in. The best part about the “pet friendly” room was it faced a beautiful grassy area which included waste bags and bins. Aside from the $50.00 fee, which could have been justified had some pet amenities been in the room, the room was beautifully decorated. We loved that our room had large sliding doors on two of the walls allowing for us to take in the lovely landscaping. We went to Reds which is the restaurant at the hotel, we had the beef sliders and mussels with chorizo, both were delicious. The only down side to that experience was that we tried to use a free small entrée coupon and the waiter stated that he could not take our coupon because he had already closed us out, but this was prior to him swiping our card. All in all the room and the experience was great, I can see myself staying their again most than likely without my dog unless they add some oomph to the pet friendly room.

Great Place for the family

The outer appearance is truly inviting with waterfalls flowing and tile work. Inside the rooms are spacious and very clean. Our room had a sliding glass door out onto a little private gated patio complete with table and chairs. The gate had a door that opened out onto the pool and jacuzzi area which was so nice! We ate breakfast by the pool or up on the terrace where the view was outstanding. We were right next to McDonald's and Safeway which was convenient when we needed to pick up any supplies or breakfast. My only disappointment was the lack of a complimentary breakfast which we had enjoyed at other hotels on our trip. Overall we were extremely satisfied and without a doubt would stay there again.

The small airport in Sedona is the best spot for sunset views. You can then head to Mesa Grill right there for a yummy dinner.
