trip to Sedona

The staff was mostly friendly but unexperienced (new check-in person, maybe). The lighting in the grounds was horrible and scary, too dark to the point that I could not find my room and had to go back to ask for help. The room was outdated and needed repair/remodeling.

Beautiful setting

I love this place. Wonderful landscaping, sounds of waterfalls at every turn, units scattered throughout the grounds, very private--not like staying in a typical hotel with elevators and one room after another down a long hallway. Great restaurants, unbelievably comfortable beds, and located right next to a wonderful shopping/dining area.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Located right across the parking area is Tlaquepaque, an amazing, garden-like shopping area famous for its galleries and fine restaurants.

I'm being charged the wrong amount. NOT cool.

The resort is charging me $100.00 for food and drink I purchased while staying there. My actual bill should be $65.60. The resort is over charging me,… which is NOT cool.

Not a hotel, a second-rate resort

Over-rated and over-priced in every way except for its "central" location in Sedona. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful, as are most of the people in Sedona.

Relaxed and Friendly setting

Los Abrigados Resort and Spa was a wonderful setting for a holiday I had chosen to travel on my own. The grounds were beautiful and the two restaurants located on the resort had excellent food choices. The spa was heaven and the workout facility was expectional for a resort setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen facilities were great, fridge, microwave, toaster oven and two burner range. Certainly adequate for preparing breakfast, lunch or heating left-overs from the ample meals served at the restaurants. The free shuttle bus stop, located just outside the gates, provided access to other centres and the downtown area in minutes. My only drawback to this vacation was the mattress in my suite. It was extremely hard and did not allow for a great sleep.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Being located next door to Tlaquepaque Village was great. It was very quaint. Access was a simple walk across the parking lot and additional restaurants serving great food and many small shops were there for the browsing,
